I was on an airplane about to fly out of NYC after finishing my training for my new job that night. We got delayed. No tornado warning mentioned on the plane but I saw it on my phone.

Tornado warnings for NYC?

First time I've heard of one for NYC, other than the tornado warning during Hurricane Irene. But it confuses me when I hear a tornado warning for NYC because I feel like an actual tornado's gonna come and knock all of our skyscrapers down. Yet, nothing really happens.

@WetPooooopie are you stupid? i was volunteering in a deaf school and nearly a few babys were killed from the unpredictable tornado. 15 trees 100 years old were knocked down breaking windows and roofs. you should be ashamed.
