Aren't you just so bloody perfect? I bet its all a lie, and your friends horse did certainly not get arthritis from western, there is probably millions of other explanations for it getting arthritis at a young age. Who cares if she has a horrible position? i think it was PERFECT for first time, my position wasn't to crash hot on my first lesson, but it was my first time!. If you can ride prove it? .Do us all a favour and keep rude/inappropriate comments to yourself
HEY! @busterdoghorselover give her a break you idiot! Its her first time riding and I think she did an excellent job! you dont have to own a horse to be good at riding or love horses- TRUST ME- I KNOW!
How can most of you critisize her riding! She is a little girl! Her first time on a horse, in a saddle! " She should learn how to sit in the saddle properly " " I know this was her first time, but she should have moved her body a bit back and forth in the saddle" SHUTUP! Your first lesson shouldnt be about that, it should just be about mainly getting on a horse! and gaining confidence before you go that step further! IM SURE YOUR FIRST TIME WAS EXACTLY THE SAME! SO SHUT YOUR MOUTHS!
I know this was her first time, but she should have moved her body a bit back and forth in the saddle, it will be better, but sorry for the rude comment, I hope she some day enters a horse show~She would be perfect!
@busterdoghorselover You sound pretty insecure about your riding. Why would your friend be riding a horse so often thats it got arthritis at 4 years old in a western saddle? Not everybody can afford a horse and lessons are the best way to start before getting your own horse. Your a brat. This is her first lesson and I'm 100% sure that you werent a perfect rider at 6 years old. @Ciaina You did great for your first lesson!
this is (no offense) kinda dumb cuz the first time i rode a horse was when i was 6 and i could wald and trot myself and i actually OWNED the horse. and western is horribe. my freinds horse got artrithis at age 4 cuz of western riding.+ she has HORRIBLE position, i had way better position 1st time riding
@busterdoghorselover Um FIRST OF ALL you don't have to OWN a horse to learn how to ride! In fact, it is a wise choice to learn how to ride on a horse you don't own because maybe you won't like riding. SECONDLY, just because you knew how to walk and trot yourself does not mean that you should be commenting on this girl's video and saying that she did badly! She did EXTREMELY WELL for her first time! Well done sweety :)
@busterdoghorselover A western saddle wont give a horse arthritis. If it was four and your friend is riding it constantly it will. It's completely different when you do own a horse or don't. You're more comfortable with your own horse then someone elses. It's her first time and some people have natural skills in different areas. Confidence is a huge thing. I'm 21 and am a green rider and I ride western and can be stiff even at a trot. So really, get over yourself.
@busterdoghorselover, Shut it, when you first rode you would look terrible doing the trot, I LOVE HORSES,I DON'T OWN A HORSE AND I GET RIDING LESSONS ON EVERY ********, you don't even have to have a horse to know alot, She did so well on her first ride, i think even better then me, she kept her head up, and i kept looking down, Just because you're better now, doesn't mean you can make stupid comments about people starting, And look at the date of this video!!!!!!!
@busterdoghorselover u r so fucking stupid i mean i ride western all the god damn time u dumbass its her first time so just fucking leave her alone u douche
@busterdoghorselover well, was your friends horse a barrel racer? I could walk and trot also, on my first time. I agree with western, but I would say it nicer, like "Western is not the best" ((The Western saddles are heavier, causing the horses back to sag just a bit more)) and the new 'lope in front-walk in back' gait they have? UGH. terrible. Also, if the horse hits the barrels with his legs a lot he's totally screwed..It WAS her first time though, she probably isn't as much as a natural as u.
very good!!! dont worry, more practice makes you better and soon you will be able to ride relaxed! kind of like a "ragdoll" as my instructer puts it, except with more control :)
Everyone, of course she's not going to be an expert with amazing riding skills. It's her first day! I know I wasn't perfect and everytime we went into canter I screamed, but now I have my own horse and we compete in showjumping! It's a process. All of you started like this, too!
