  • ok....refinger it ROFL dumbass

  • This is such shit, just like the " Hendrix chords" whatever! this is nothing new. It's just a chord used more by a certain person. The "Hendrix chords" were used loads in jazz music before becoming popular because of Hendrix.

  • @spudvader86 you have to accept all the retards that think hendrix/page/slash ceated the guitar they can't be agrued with. For a real guitar player look up Guthrie Govan...

  • @TheWhocares233 you know i have to be honest i did look up Guthrie Govan..and i wasted the 15 mins of my life!

    get your reality check!

  • @hujaqaa That just means you have either never touched as guitar./ suck at guitar/ or you have no idea what you are talking about...Go back to worshipping average players...

  • @TheWhocares233 i've been playing for quiet a while now!..and it really didnt impress me at all!..that govian guy whoever he was..had no feel man!..

he was a shredder like buckethead or maybe michealangelo..but how can you compare him to slash and page and hendrix for cryin' out loud!

  • @hujaqaa i would see where you are coming from...But when you called buckethead a shredder..you lost me =\ the whole electric tears album and colma was probably the most soulful playing i have ever heard...listen to "waves" by guthrie if you want soul.

  • @TheWhocares233 well i still believe buckethead is a shredder after i watched some of his work on youtube..

  • @spudvader86 Dude, he means Slash as in "/", not the guitarist...

  • ROFL. "Really hard to figure out". It's a fucking E.

  • HAHAHA!!! "Slash's chord" people are so stupid

  • A slash chord is a normal chord, but with a different root note. For example, an F#/G is a slash chord, but instead of fretting the 3rd fret on the 6th string you are fretting the 2nd (F#).

  • The Chord you are describing is Gmaj7/F#

  • 2:12 there we go Slash chord! DUH.

No this videos name is totally misleading though.

  • err wots this got to do wid slash this is normal chords

  • I find it amusing that so many people came here expecting chords played by Slash.

  • psh your one of those people if you watched this video

  • yea i was wondering what chords slash could possibly have utilized more than other people. always thought of him as more of a power chord regular old major chord kind of guy. me, i like the flat seventh ones. always neat on the perfect intervals.

  • I played guitar for many years and wasn't too bad however despite attempts at being serious, advanced stuff was beyond me. Flattened 5th diminished with a G over A; augmented to boot; couldn't get it. Don't come back if the chord doesn't exist just exaggerating a point. Don't think Paul McCartney for all his brilliance has much idea when it comes to the more serious aspects of musical annotation.

  • thats a awsome guitar

  • these chords dont have anything to do with the guitar player slash. these are e/g# type chords refering to the slash that seperates them.

  • hahah, thanks

  • It's been quite a few hours since I read this, and I did not repost. I see no clown. Stop reposting this kind of bullshit and wasting people's time. Don't tell me you actually believe this crap.

  • aweonao ql pareci gayyyy¡

  • BORIIIIING..!!

  • i thought he was gonna do slash chords?

erm it dont sound nothin like slash m8

  • Dude, a slash chord is like Am/G. It's theory not the guy.

  • lmfao i watched this whole video until i realized wat he meant

  • You guys are kidding right? Not the guy named Slash ok, You ever looked up any chords for a song and seen something like C#m/E? They are called "slash chords". Uh DERRRR!!! Ghey.

  • No I don't look up gay chord, powerchord \m/

  • Someone will never be able to play then.. (Bitchslapper)

Name one of your favorite guitarists, or any guitarist for that matter, they use real chords ALL THE TIME

  • "i suck at guitar", is what your coment pretty much said

  • You know...We call people "noobs" only in in-games.

  • it's why you'll be forever a beginner..what's the meaning of those noobs who play notes ?? don't you play notes when you play..idiot..

  • play notes?

wow, what else would play on a guitar

  • um, if you don't play notes then what do you play seeing as how ALL music is made up of notes? idiot

  • its called frets not spaces just to tell u if ur going to be a guitar player

  • his lessons are explained very well

there explained so well that i can only get half of what hes saying...and this is by far on of his easiest videos because i've looked on his website and when looked at some of his videos and i really feel dumb after reading them XD

  • for a change compared to all the other teachers on youtube this was really good

  • He doesn't need a Les Paul. Slash chords are type of chords were, basically, you take the root note of the chord and change it. So D/F# is like a D with F# as the root.

    Good lesson BTW

  • if i use a washburn x10 guitar cn or nt ?

  • chords have nothing to do with the guitar brand noob

  • I think what that retard mean't to say is that you need a les paul to play what "Slash" plays or how he plays chords ..or something resembling Slash, which sounds almost as stupid as what he originally wrote.

  • good lesson. Thank you!

  • Man I love this guy. These lessons have really helped me a lot.
