The guy was chased because he was on a running motorcycle on a sidewalk. Dallas Police chief David Brown reported that the officers disobeyed an order to NOT chase Collins. The order to not chase is given so that civilians don't die because of police vehicles or suspect vehicles. Once the suspect realizes he's not being chased they typically slow down. Cops chasing people, especially on motorcycles, just makes a bad situation worse and they should know better.

If you watch carefully they yell "Get On The Fucking Ground!" as the suspect contemplates running but decides against it and he does so with his hands up and right when he bends over to lay down the cop beats him with his baton. Motorcycle rider name is Andrew Collins. The two officers are Paul Bauer and Kevin Randolph. Kevin Randolph was fired the day before this was released.

I've seen worse, this is not a big deal. He admitted guilt by running from the cops for an unknown reason or crime when the pursuit began. He decided to risk his life by running. DPD is too soft on high speed chases during low traffic time compared to neighboring cities. He could have been a murderer on the run or he didn't want to get busted for drugs... Cops don't know in many cases until the suspect is in custody.

Police are public servants (humans) who can cross the line sometimes. Dallas PD has over 3,000 officers we cant discredit them all because of these guys. What would we do without them? One was fired immediately, and two more were just fired yesterday. According to the Dallas Morning News, they were ordered to not chase the motorcycle. Also, one of them moved his camera before getting out.

The guy on the motorcycle was sitting on the sidewalk, I live in Dallas, I see this more often than you think...I know of a person with a video that was "taped" covertly, I've seen it, that not only has police kicking a handcuffed person, but someone who was seen "taping with a cell phone is grabbed, thrown on the ground, then cuffed, phone taken and the office is seen erasing the video, then uncuffing the "victim" and haqnding back the phone.

The guy was chased because he was on a running motorcycle on a sidewalk. Dallas Police chief David Brown reported that the officers disobeyed an order to NOT chase Collins. The order to not chase is given so that civilians don't die because of police vehicles or suspect vehicles. Once the suspect realizes he's not being chased they typically slow down. Cops chasing people, especially on motorcycles, just makes a bad situation worse and they should know better.

If you watch carefully they yell "Get On The Fucking Ground!" as the suspect contemplates running but decides against it and he does so with his hands up and right when he bends over to lay down the cop beats him with his baton. Motorcycle rider name is Andrew Collins. The two officers are Paul Bauer and Kevin Randolph. Kevin Randolph was fired the day before this was released.

I've seen worse, this is not a big deal. He admitted guilt by running from the cops for an unknown reason or crime when the pursuit began. He decided to risk his life by running. DPD is too soft on high speed chases during low traffic time compared to neighboring cities. He could have been a murderer on the run or he didn't want to get busted for drugs... Cops don't know in many cases until the suspect is in custody.

Police are public servants (humans) who can cross the line sometimes. Dallas PD has over 3,000 officers we cant discredit them all because of these guys. What would we do without them? There are only so many mistakes the police can make....they have seen each other make these same mistakes and they should be learning from these mistakes. You can definately tell the guy was unarmed and dispatch is clearly saying to STOP chasing him. If it were a white guy it would be totally different!!!! AND...he's clearly NOT resisting but he gets beat anyway?!?!?!?!?!?! The moral? There is no reason people should trust the police OR think they will protect you!

lol, the biker made so many driving mistakes, so i'm kinda amazed at how long it took the cops. The beating was a bit over the top, as the guy clearly laid down on the ground even before the cops got to him. Cowboys in the PD are a big problem in any country though.

We were taking pictures and one said to a Public Official you're not in America go sit down you can't take pictures here. This act was premeditated it was heard in the tape. The guy one of the Officers did turn the camera around and they also moved him over out of the sight of the camera. Excuse me, people no matter what color. The guy on the motorcycle was sitting on the sidewalk, I live in Dallas, I see this more often than you think...I know of a person with a video that was "taped" covertly, I've seen it, that not only has police kicking a handcuffed person, but someone who was seen "taping with a cell phone is grabbed, thrown on the ground, then cuffed, phone taken and the office is seen erasing the video, then uncuffing the "victim" and haqnding back the phone.

these cops are going to be desciplined for ignoring department policy. the beat down dosen't surprise me as cops are quick to the stick after a chase.
I've been on the ugly end of a couple of beatings that were worse than this, and never arrested. that was my warning... like a Scared Straight program.

Can someone explain to me why we pay cops to beat us. They are useless, and have no respect or care for the public. They are leeches, they get paid to beat and imprison us. They serve no purpose, they are more dangerous than criminals. When is the last time you heard of a cop stopping an actual crime or even solving one. It is about time that the public realizes that these cops are here to hurt us not help us. Its Nazi Germany all over again. Is there no goodness left in people?
