Good luck on finding a single monitor with that resolution. If you split monitors then you would be combining two lower resolutions and you cant do that unless you use a splitter so there is no point. You cant have SLI work on more than 1 monitor.

well the reason i was asking was that toshiba released their WQUXGA-W LCD 22" monitor that does support that native resolution. Im guessing that with HD and how people want more, we can probably see within the next few generations of cards; cards that would support these very high resolutions. its less than a year old so it will take a while to catch on, but i think it will.

Using your 4 chip your cutting that third and fourth slot down to x8 maybe even the second slot too. Im not quite sure how they wired the controller. Anyways a review without the 4 card would be excellent.

Yeah definatly keep those RAM modules cool, my PC used to lock up with 1333 MHz RAM - I touched the sides and they were very very hot, I now installed a simple fan on it and they are cool and no more lockups.

So if your PC locks up completely during gaming etc, check those RAM modules.

Also for those interested I have a GTX 285 video aswell running Crysis Warhead at 1920x1200 with 8x AA (not advertising just helping)

Go to 2:25 in the video and you will see there are 4 PCI-E slots, so he can fit the 3x GTX cards and the 1x 9800GT for PhysX.

There are 4 slots on the Classified board.

Using physx on one of the Video cards dedicated to rendering the game slows down the performance since it then has to do double duty. The 4th slot on the Classified allows for a cheap nvidia card (series 8000 or above) to be used as a dedicated physx card while the others churn out your epic frame rates

Aren't all NPU a waste of money? I've seen benchmarks for the Killer NIC, and it lowered the latency times in general by like 1ms.... which obviously could have even been the ISP at that point.

You need to have at least 2xAA on all benchmarks. Tweaking the graphics settings to have 2xAA will perform better and look nicer than if you were to max everything out and leave 0xAA. Even at resolutions as high as 1920x1080, it still looks MUCH better to have at least 2xAA.

I wonder if its possible to put 3 GTX 285 in sli + GTX 295 as Physx in this motherboard. The water cooled editions of GTX 285 and GTX 295 are there in newegg. They are small and will take only one slot compared to aircooled ones. However the GTX 295 watercooled will still take 2 slots. If it doesnt fit, 4 GTX 285s can be put in. 3 for sli + 1 for physx. I am not at all sure about the combination. If it works it will be a killer COMBO.
