@amydiane197831 I don't think he did "kick the pills" did he? I think you're in denail yourself if you believe that. As for his weight gain, that doesn't mean he was clean. It definitely didn't look like healthy weight gain, more of a sickly bloated look - perhaps a hint that his body was finally shutting down, which it did...there's no denying that. It would probably help you more to accept the fact that he never beat his addiction and continued to take the drugs until the day they killed him.

I feel like he should have been involuntarily committed to a hospital/rehab, but it must take a court order and loads of red tape to get that done.
Its such a shame he switched from being addicted to illegal substances to being addicted to presription medicines which can be a more serious problem.Doctors will prescribe anything when they see the dollar signs.Poor Haim was wrong to think the prescribed medicine would not eventually kill him.I feel so sad for him he is and always will be a much loved actor.Heres to you my friend,RIP.X
I totally agree with you. Haim gives off such a loveable vibe. He seemed like a beautiful person inside. What a horrible shame that he didn't have the strength to kick what was killing him. What are you talking about? As far as I see it, Haim didn't go through anything that Feldman didn't go through himself. Yet, Feldman is clean and sober, had at least TRIED to make his marriage work for the better part of 7 years, was still working, could support himself and his wife. Why couldn't Haim? This is a fake scene. I have the dvd that shows how they made it look like he was on the table getting surgery. It looks so real they did a great job with the angles to achieve a life like scene out of a simple rehersed skit.
My feeling is ten yrs from now Feldman will be divorced but still happy with his work and life and Haim will still be dating on and off and happy with his work and life also.
Never seen this before. It seams very contrived. Haim is the child star that is realy only famous for one film and thats lost boys. Feldman is a better actor (as a child any way) and has a much better portfolio i.e Lost Boys, Stand by me and the goonies. At least they were both in Licence to drive........lol I enjoyed that when i was 15. If people watch it they get paid, good for them.

At the end it almost seemed like he was enjoying the pain of getting a tattoo. He was on a tattoo high at that point I guess. I also think that maybe he realized at that moment that he does have a problem and that if he doesn't do something about it soon, it will be too late.

Ha ha. Thanks for getting my back. I've dealt first hand with a drug addicted girlfriend. It's not funny or cute. Drug addicts negatively affect EVERYONE around them. People remember the adorable Corey Haim from his 80's success and somehow that gives him a free pass to be a lying pill popping idiot now. He looks like a stroke victim. In this celebrity worship culture we live in, I guess even the shell of what was once Corey Haim is above criticism.

You know, I really don't think of Corey as being almost 37 years old. It seems he never grew out of his twenties. I feel sorry for him. I hope he will sort of grow up soon.
I want you guys to know something a lot of actors in the industry take meds for thinking process and they get those meds from doctors you think its fake but its not. They also take pain killers for head aches and alcahol abuse. When you take for a period of time it effects you mentally and also physically. Elvis Prestley also took some of those meds it becomes a habbit of takin them and you can very well over does on them if your not careful.
I think this whole show is an intervention for Haim, I bet if he looked back and saw himself, if he ever went to rehab (I hope so), he would be kinda disgraced at himself.

Feldman is a great actor. And you do see his wife cleaning his house often. Feldman is just too busy working and making amazing movies and shows earning money for his family to sit around and clean all day. Most men dont clean their house. The wives usually do. And i bet he does clean some, they just don't show every minuet of every day on this show, and i dont think the watching Feldman clean his house is really interesting enought to put in a 30 minuet show.

Feldman is a shitty actor and a has been. If he was broke that suzy chick would not put up with his diva ass. Haim will be dead soon and the world will be a better place. What was remarkably more disturbing than Haim continuing to spiral is the fact Feldman was wearing his sunglasses pre surgery. He is in a Hospital gown, the doctors are marking him for incisions and he has his shades on.

i'm addicted to this show. sometimes i can't stand haim or feldman, but for some reason they draw me in. the editing is a little wack ex: after the lost boys meltdown, they both go to therapy and haim has a bandage on his hand and 2 episodes later it shows him getting a tatoo on his hand like he's shooting h or something, but i still watch it!
i was always a bigger fan of Corey Feldman - loving that alternative, goth side of him. But after watching these episodes, my heart really goes out to Corey H. I felt so mad when I watched the episode where Feldman and Susy had all their friends confront Haim about his addiction, when he specifically told Feldman not to do that. Who knows, maybe the producers edited some of it, but that's what I noticed.
Corey deserves better and more from his life than he's allowing himself to feel.
I have a friend who is EXACTLY like Corey Haim. Has excuses for everything, slurs speech one minute and doesn't the next. Won't fess up to the massive problem he has. Once a addict always an addict, which Feldman was. Who's to say he's stronger. Getting lipo doesn't sound "strong" to me. People are criticizing Feldman because they can see something in him that makes him no better than Haim.

What are you talking about? As far as I see it, Haim didn't go through anything that Feldman didn't go through himself. Yet, Feldman is clean and sober, had at least TRIED to make his marriage work for the better part of 7 years, was still working, could support himself and his wife. Why couldn't Haim? Was Feldman just supposed to let Haim self-destruct in front of him (and drag him into his drama) until he decided HE wanted to get better?

Agreed. He was into drugs, molested, and even had problems with his parents...and he rose above them.
He was always the more responsible and stronger one. It was clear.

Well, everyone thought Britany Murphy died of a drug overdose too and she didn't. She was sick. It is possible he was just sick and being treated w/ anti viruls and a decongestant that interacted to kill him. I wish people would wait for the toxicology before assuming he od'd.

did you not watch the episode where he forgot to turn his mic off while in that trailer that was on the set for lost boys 2? they caught audio of him crushing and snorting a pill! you do not take presciption drugs that way atleast last time I checked I couldn't find a single one that you are told to take it by crushing into a powder and snorting it up you're nose. This is a fake scene. I have the dvd that shows how they made it look like he was on the table getting surgery. It looks so real they did a great job with the angles to achieve a life like scene out of a simple rehersed skit.

Never seen this before. It seams very contrived. Haim is the child star that is realy only famous for one film and thats lost boys. Feldman is a better actor (as a child any way) and has a much better portfolio i.e Lost Boys, Stand by me and the goonies. At least they were both in Licence to drive........lol I enjoyed that when i was 15. If people watch it they get paid, good for them.

Feldmans mum sounded like a real bitch. Poor Feldman is not having much luck with women. Eeven though Susie makes him happy which is ok but she just doesnt seem to support him enough and he seems to be more supportive and affectionate towards her whereas she is less.

At the end it almost seemed like he was enjoying the pain of getting a tattoo. He was on a tattoo high at that point I guess. I also think that maybe he realized at that moment that he does have a problem and that if he doesn't do something about it soon, it will be too late.

man he loves the pain...I think he is a cutter too! he is living in such pain. such pain. his mother needs to take him HOME and he needs to be locked up inorder not to harm himself. Not in jail, but a rehab facility that he can not leave. No choice here...because I think he is not getting it and will end up killing himself...

I think his dirty laundry didn't need a cable television presentation, he needs to check into rehab, continue counseling, see a pastor, confide in friends, do whatever is required to be honest with is depravity and the hole he alone has caused himself to anguish within.

Ha ha. Thanks for getting my back. I've dealt first hand with a drug addicted girlfriend. It's not funny or cute. Drug addicts negatively affect EVERYONE around them. People remember the adorable Corey Haim from his 80's success and somehow that gives him a free pass to be a lying pill popping idiot now. He looks like a stroke victim. In this celebrity worship culture we live in, I guess even the shell of what was once Corey Haim is above criticism.

I want you guys to know something a lot of actors in the industry take meds for thinking process and they get those meds from doctors you think its fake but its not. They also take pain killers for head aches and alcahol abuse. When you take for a period of time it effects you mentally and also physically. Elvis Prestley also took some of those meds it becomes a habbit of takin them and you can very well over does on them if your not careful.

When do we ever see him cleaning it? He doesnt..housekeepers come in and decorate and clean it. Feldman is a great actor. And you do see his wife cleaning his house often. Feldman is just too busy working and making amazing movies and shows earning money for his family to sit around and clean all day. Most men dont clean their house. The wives usually do. And i bet he does clean some, they just don't show every minuet of every day on this show, and i dont think the watching Feldman clean his house is really interesting enought to put in a 30 minuet show.

What was remarkably more disturbing than Haim continuing to spiral is the fact Feldman was wearing his sunglasses pre surgery. He is in a Hospital gown, the doctors are marking him for incisions and he has his shades on.

zaffa81 about the editing i noticed that as well that the editing seems a little off..specifically your comment about the bandage and the tattoo 2 episodes later. but it could easily just be that sometimes tattoos arent done in one sitting. depending on the size, coloring etc.. or perhaps the amount of time the artist has to work on the tattoo on a given day.. it very well could just be that the tattoo is taking a couple visits.

i'm addicted to this show. sometimes i can't stand haim or feldman, but for some reason they draw me in. the editing is a little wack ex: after the lost boys meltdown, they both go to therapy and haim has a bandage on his hand and 2 episodes later it shows him getting a tatoo on his hand like he's shooting h or something, but i still watch it!

i was always a bigger fan of Corey Feldman - loving that alternative, goth side of him. But after watching these episodes, my heart really goes out to Corey H. I felt so mad when I watched the episode where Feldman and Susy had all their friends confront Haim about his addiction, when he specifically told Feldman not to do that. Who knows, maybe the producers edited some of it, but that's what I noticed.
Corey deserves better and more from his life than he's allowing himself to feel.

I have a friend who is EXACTLY like Corey Haim. Has excuses for everything, slurs speech one minute and doesn't the next. Won't fess up to the massive problem he has. Won't get help and closes off everyone who loves him until he's totally on his own. Now he lives in St. Andrew's cemetery because he died of an overdose in March. Boy Haim's messed up. He's sweating, talking corney and slurring, he cant even flip his ashes normally? He has to do an enhanced flip into the ashtray? lol, Like at the DR.'s office he always grabs his water bottle with his left hand, and has to throw it in the air real fast to his right hand? as if to say "look at me, only a sober guy could do that!" The entertainment never ends with Haim. Ive known people like this, but they laughed at themselves while partying. This guy is just plain angry.

I think both guys have issues that explain why they are like this today. Maybe that is why they both point fingers at each other. I feel sorry for Haim.I want him better. Feldman's wife should be more supportive by telling him he is beautiful the way he is, but what does she know....she looks plastic herself.

I've been watching "The Two Coreys" since the first season and every time I watch the show it gets harder and harder to watch Haim fall apart on screen. I've been where he is now and I know exactly what it's like. I just hope that he can find the strength within himself to survive.
