I will be entering the religious life after high school hopefully. ^^ To God be alll the glory! I cannot wait to be a bride of Christ. The waiting is dragging on, but I know it will pay off. Pax Domini sit semper tecum!
I am glad Our Lifeteen priest was born again and taught by the doctrine of Sola Scriptua, in other words if it is not Biblically accepted it is not true Doctrine (CF 2 Timothy 3:16-17). He was against Cannibalism (Transubstantiation) and in favour of Consubstantiation, against Mary and 'saint' Worship , he was pretty much a Baptist taking the truth to Rome.
@MenechemShaul Cannibalism. LOL. Not even close. We're "eating" God, not just some random human meat.
Your pastors just love to talk against the Catholic Church I guess. The priests at my local Catholic Church doesn't even mention Protestants, let alone mock you guys. Peace be with you.
@MenechemShaul Well Cannibalism and Transubstantian are two different things. Cannibalism is the eating of human flesh. On the other hand, Transubstantiation is the change of the bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ.
is emotion or feeling valid to know your vocation? Some says that we should not rely in our emotions...because our emotions are often contrary to God's will.
I also want to join the religious life... and i mean, i really want to serve God but lately i've been getting this feelings like maybe i'm not that good enough or that I just can't... i don't know why. I trully want to serve the Lord but I guess i need to pray more about it.
Trust me: no one is holy enough to to be a religious or a priest, but I will tell you what our Chaplain at my old High school said, "God does not choose the qualified, but he qualifies those he chooses." I know I am not qualified to be a priest, but yet I feel called to the CFRs.
THANKS you Hennie, I will do,,,I feel confusion in this moment,, I am waiting for the right moment,,right now i was called to be a minister of eucaristia,,Jesus make me a intrument of your peace
@EverydayAngel726 You should realize that the holy Eucharist should only be held by the priest's blessed hands and should be received kneeling on the tounge.
I'm discerning a religious vocation as well! I want to be a Sister. I am very thankful that there are so many good resources on the internet to help. I'm preparing to ask my parish's priest, when he returns from vacation, if he will be my spiritual director. I've already gotten the call from Jesus, now I just need to decide which community is right for me.
great vocation video.

Hey! I'm a Eucharistic Minister too! It's an awesome experience, isn't it?

Eucharistic ministers should not be used.
Extraordinary form of the Mass is the best.
