I don't get it. Many important things I do have three components, the fun, the serious fun, and the serious (but not funny). Why being serious isn't important?

if you don't have a GPS, the alternative to geocaching is letterboxing. You find spots online and you bring your stamp and stamp the letterbox logbook, and put the letterbox stamp in your personal logbook... it's like a little passport of fun and hiking :D
Hank, I thought you may like to know that the entire book I'm writing, In a World Without Flowers, was inspired by this video and the idea that fun, or having fun, is the most important thing that we, as humans, can do with our short lives. :)

Importance doesn't only belong to either fun or serious. They're both important. Both help us express joy and pain. They help us deal with what we experience.

I have the fortune/misfortune to live in Austin, Texas (well, I go to school in San Antonio) which is an awesome place (Keep Austin Weird!) but has a conspicuous lack of mountains, unlike New Mexico, where I was born.

Thanks for the video. Fun is what is important in geocaching too. I've seen too many people who take it too seriously and would complain that who ever hid the cache you found used the wrong container. Hey, if someone had fun finding it, I'd say it was a good geocache. :D
