do u guys use flurocarbon leaders? does normal leaders make a difference? as in , flurocarbon is transparent in water rite? does that make any difference?

I don't find much difference for reef fishing, Game fishing may be different, and the better quality leader material would be worth it. I use normal mono spools of 100lb line in bulk, far cheaper and still does a good job for reef fishing, but we do go through a lot of rigs.  I prefer to use slightly heavier mono at 100lb, rather than 80lb, doesn't seem to affect the bites, and lands more of the larger reef fish as well.

That'd be there air bladder, nannygai are especially prone to it when you bring them up from the deep, 50 metres for us,
