It looks like all is not lost, Honda came through and repair the paint job with some out of pocket cost and they paid most of the cost for the repair. Save me the trouble of trying to fix it on my own! Still not too happy about the recent overall Honda quality but at least they are willing to stand by there product...

Time to get a air compressor and and some gravity feed sprayer. Get your sanding pad out and get busy.
