did it just lose all power and made a really weird noise around 2000rpm? Mines doing the same..

@SuperSkeebz yep. And when it idles you can hear a rattling coming from the cat. That's a good sign that it's the cat. You could also be losing power if you have a vacuum leak. The intake gaskets are notorious for cracking in Dodges. I just had mine replaced on my newer 2001 Ram 2500.

uh, yeah. idk about where you live, but in alabama, that's illegal. i'd say just run a pipe straight out from where he cut it off at and out the back and put tips on it. sounds so much better.

@Monster73196 Nah, I kept it stock. Didn't want to dump a whole bunch of money into it. I actually got rid of this truck not too long ago. It was getting a little too old. II now have a 2001 Ram 2500.
