"Bolillo" is a common slang word when applied to rolling pin, from the bread shaped similar to a rolling pin. And you're also correct on the word "torta", which, in English, translates to "torte". "Tortilla" is the word most commonly used in many Latin countries. There's lots of words that people use incorrectly; this is called "colloquial", for "the way we use words around here"!
