Sorry to burst your bubble, but thats actually the trans making that noise. Journalists were actually complaining about that as a matter of fact. FYI, the pitch of the turbo doesn't change with engine speed after it's fully spooled.
Sorry to burst YOUR bubble, but those ARE the turbos. The problems that you are referring to is from overheating the launch control system...no fault of the car.
IDK what your talking about, the "launch control system" doesn't overheat, the transmission does overheat the oil from extended highspeed driving/tracking, and then go into limp mode, because apparently the nissan fluid is crap. But that whine sound is not the turbo spooling up, it is the transmission gears. Like I said before, the sound of the turbos DOES NOT CHANGE after they are spooled up- go listen to a video of a car with a downpipe and you can really hear what I mean.
You must not be familiar with a All-wheel drive system like the ATTESA. It IS the launch control system....It uses a transaxel. You need to think outside the box pal.

there is not launch control system.
Its just in the cars computer and it holds the revs then dumps the clutch.
Turbo pitch doesent change with the engine speed but a supercharger does
