The mountain scenery is really beautiful, and Galeton is a nice, relaxed little town. I visit my buddy there every few months, and I never cease to be awed by the area. In the morning, the mountains are hidden by the fog, and it's fun to watch them emerge from the mist as the sun rises. Right now there are black flies all over the place, so walking outdoors (particularly in the woods!) is not very pleasant. Still, you really CAN leave your car unlocked and nobody will mess with it.

my grandparents were raised there. i go up there every year for bear and the fourth of july and i love it

Thanks for doing this. Galeton really is a nice place to live. I love it here, especially during summer. There are alot of things to do.
