  • If a LDS missionary comes to my place, I will just show up in a robe and just that. Also will flirt with them and tell them how they get me hot lol. Im a guy btw.

  • I love when the religious pricks and freaks, like I like to call them, get a taste of their own bullshit and maybe they'll think twice before doing it again.

  • Wow what a bunch of mormon assholes. I'm going to slam the door in the face of the next mormon missionary who comes to my house.

  • You mad, mormons? ;-j)

  • Comments pending approval sucks,BornAgainstMormons, I am mormon, and so on,. It seems allot of mormon sites cancel ratings and censor comments, why? I see many other sites that people are allowed to comment and disagree. Mormons must be scarred of debate, and disrespect others opinions. Mormon superiority complexes, and mormon's one way conversations are the reason I and others have a bad attitude toward their "faith"

  • With 60,000 missionaries tramping the streets of the world, you'd think the Mormons would choose less intrusive tactics and more humane goals -- maybe even change the world.

  • this just never ever gets old...years later it's still hysterical every time

  • epic trolling

  • ROFL. Awesome

  • Fantastic Vid! Mormons confronted with the same tactic .. beautiful.. the author of this vid deserves praise.. he went right to the heart of mormon country and confronted them with a taste of their own practices.. kudos.

  • LMAI! Dude, this is amazing.

  • I'm in love with God and I am also in love with this brilliant video. People are such hypocrites. DON'T KNOCK ON MY DOOR. >:|

  • this guy is my heroe

  • @Subfightr Thank you! That bothers me to no end too. Yes, we're primates and so are they. But chimps are much more closely related to us and we didn't evolve from them either. People need to stop saying it.

  • This video made me lol I am a follower of christ but that doesn't mean I have to be ignorant. I may or may not agree with some of the teachings of evolution. There is no way to deny it, we see it every day. The thing is that this guy, while hilarious, has some points that I don't agree with.

  • @chetoos008

    like?

  • @chetoos008 That's ok that you don't agree with him. That really wasn't the point of the video. The point was, Mormons are annoying when they knock on the door. Nobody likes it, and how do you think Mormons would react if atheists knocked on their door.

  • @elgmalone Yeah, I got the point of the video. People from the church where I go do that to. It's cool if you talk to someone about it if they ask you or if maybe you see willingness to hear, but these people like to "shove it down their children's throats" in Senator Butters' words. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, this is 'murica, and I don't feel comfortable trying to force mine upon others. Funny vid.

  • We didnt come from monkeys, we came from apes.

  • @Inimoulleb No,apes by definition are animals classified in the superfamily Hominoidea, and since humans are classified in the superfamily Hominoidea, alongside chimps, bonobos and orang-utans,we are apes!

  • Mormon missionaries don't knock at anyone's house at 8:00 in the morning. At the earliest, it would be about 10:30. Also, I support him going door to door teaching what he believes. Unfortunately most people don't believe things enough to dedicate all their time teaching it, especially atheists.

  • @TheCruel Going to someone's house in the morning to push your beliefs or non-beliefs on someone is intrusive, nothing else.

I don't care how passionate someone is about whatever religion they believe in, knocking on people's door in the morning is annoying and does your cause more harm than good.

  • @Zeus0Moose Yes, that would be intrusive. But actively seeking interested parties and teaching about a belief is not intrusive. This is one of the more silly first-world problems I've heard in a while... knocks on your door is annoying. If someone knocks on my door I'm virtually unaffected, and I just don't answer it if I don't want to. On top of that, it's very unlikely that people would get more than a couple knocks a month, and I've personally never gotten a knock on my door in the morning.

  • I get so uncomfortable watching stuff like this, haha. I don't know why.

  • "And Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone".

    This is comedy gold.

  • This is in my Top Pick For Atheist Video's. This Super Funny!!!

  • Must see more! btw, Liverpool accent?

  • hahahaha that was brilliant!

    buddhism isn't a religion though

  • @sablize That's such a crock. Buddhism posits a supernatural dimension, even claiming to be able to describe in some sense what what supernatural dimension is like, all without evidence. It is scripturaly supported gibberish, no more or less than any religion. That's like people who say Christianity isn't a religion, but a relationship with Christ. That ignores centuries of history in order to disassociate a favored belief system from the negative connotations of the word 'religion' itself.

  • i didnt even know Mormons existed until i started watching southpark

  • He needs better info though--we're not descended from monkeys. Apes and humans share a common ancestor, and monkeys share an earlier ancestor. We're distant cousins.

  • @mzmadmike he said relative of monkeys. relative = ancestor

  • Religious people are always afraid of what they don't know or can't control. That's why when these religious types know on my door, I just tell them I'm a practicing Satanist (im not) who will be having a ritual sacrifice tomarrow night if they'd like to come back then...

  • It's these kinds of people how give atheist a bad name

  • @ismellahater

Pretty sure it's the religious who give atheists a bad name.

  • @ismellahater You missed the point. He is showing you why it's not right to push your beliefs on anybody else. This is probably something he DOES NOT DO.

  • @ismellahater And mormons give religious people a bad name?

  • Love it. I had a friend who once spend an hour talking about how he'd like to "come back as a nice big juicy worm" to a couple of Jehovah's Witnesses they were ever so slightly confused.

  • I've always found squirt-guns or a hose work well for ANYONE on my doorstep that time of the morning, with the exception of the paperboy or a girl scout (of course). ;-)

  • Nice -but one detail is wrong: atheism is not a belief, it is a DISbelief.

  • @sitemountain Actually, you've just made a common mistake. Atheism is the belief that there are no deities of any sort. Since such deities rely on faith, there is no proof of existence; and there is no way to prove that something doesn't exist. Therefore, atheism is a belief. The lack of belief is best described by agnosticism. I, too, thought I was an atheist because my christian family called me such for not believing in their god. Cooler heads prevailed.

  • @SiressW Well if you look up agnosticism it means not KNOWING if any Gods exist so by default are also atheists. Not believing in something is not a belief. To say 'It;'s a belief in not believing' doesn't make an awful lot of sense if you think about it.

  • @sitemountain I said "best described by agnosticism," I didn't say it fit nicely at all. Once again, though, you've made an error in reasoning; regarding agnostics being atheists. To not know something is to be without certainty; that is to be without proof. However, agnostics maintain an open mind that there is, at least, the possibility. Atheists _believe_ otherwise. Personally, I like to define agnostic most simply as "without belief," but that muddles the waters outside of spiritual thinking

  • I really don't think it right to shove my lack of belief in other peoples faces, most people want to believe and are too stubborn to listen to any kind of reasoning, so why waste the time and only piss them off? Besides my reason for not doing something like this I found the video hilarious and righteous!

  • love the door to door action. It just shows a great example of how people feel being preached to, as well as the stubbornness of the people that are the ones that normally do it.

  • This man is my hero.

  • the spread of christianity started with missionaries..... but im sure they didnt bother ppl at 9am -_- i do love mormons but not everyone's a morning person :P

  • I am an LCMS lutheran

And I fucking love this video...

  • Bravo! And Christians would do well to behave like Jesus, many do not.

    A former catholic

  • He said what if going to church and believing amounts to nothing, well then you live a good life and have a belief and die like everybody. Did you ever think what if it does, you believe and go to heaven, but if you don't you burn in he'll forever. Think about that, please it is only logical.

  • @jelopez15 Did you ever consider that you had the wrong religion and that you were worshiping another god when you should of been worshiping Thor and Odin but now you go to Hell forever because you didn't die in a battle or get a spear wound? Its only logical

  • linking Darwin with atheism is sort of a mistake, but what the hell

  • john safran's teh fucking bomb diggety.

everyone go to amazon and look for john safran vs. god if you want to watch the rest of this series!

  • ...biggest balls of them all.

  • he drank Kahlura and milk while reading Jewteronomy

  • watch?v=sk8-6e9LmII

  • He sounds like that cartoon wallaby. lol

  • You're amazing.

  • Perhaps the people that were visited in this video were more put off by the fact that these two visitors were atheists than the fact of being visited. I do not agree with Mormons but I have had some very nice visits with them.

Belief in a higher power is hard wired in all of us. The chaps in this video just happen to believe their higher power was the mechanics of evolution.

  • @Brotha1977 Get over yourself! Not everyone believes in a so-called "higher power." Science and rationale are the beliefs of an Atheist! Voodoo, burning bushes that talk, snakes that talk, "giants," ALL MYTHOLOGY!

  • lol

  • This cognitive dissidence causes anxiety within you! Epic win

  • Vote Libertarian separate church and state!

  • Wow, i didn't think Atheists actually "knew" there was no such thing as a god. I wish they would have come knocked my door so they could've enlightened me with their ridiculously fallible evidence and irrational claims. Hmmm, that sounds just like theism, doesn't it? FAIL!

    - Agnostic logic prevails!

  • @some1iknow1 Nihilism > Everything

  • I honestly wonder how many people are convinced to join a religion this way.

  • honestly i would rather have an atheist knock on my door then a Mormon

  • My retirement plan to be a door to door Atheist...Alright what a plan!!!

  • On Ya!!! Should see more of these people on tha door steps...No govt grants for Atheist groups I believe...

  • aaah this pisses me off they are perpuating the problem by giving people the wrong impression that it is a set of beliefs to be more elaborate a religion. its bad enough that their are people delibrately making strawman of the word atheism. The word shouldnt even fucking exist but thats another thing all together.

  • @philosage wtf are you babbling about?

  • Heh, this is payback for all the times the mormons have bothered someone at the ungodly hours of before dinner on a saturday

  • I was a mormon and served a mission...now I feel bad for all the people I bothered. It's funny to see how Mormons just slam the door and treat you so harshly when they are the ones who are so willing to send their 19 year olds across the globe doing it all over. Real hypocritical...

  • im curious if the mormons have come up with a logical argument against this video

  • This is great!

    Do they have any booklets?

  • "As played on heretic tv?" You mean 'borrowed' from John Safran's Australian TV show from several years ago.

  • No more from me other than to say I have been praying for you guys and will continue to pray for atheists. I know some might be offended by this. However, God does speak to people but the timing has to be right. I am praying that if it is God's will he will change the hearts and minds of atheists so they can have the life that was designed for them to live. Living for self and self-belief is no life. Amen

  • @fraggib You seem determined to convince yourself that living for oneself is axiomatic to atheism, bad, and your business. That sounds awfully self-centered to me.

I put forth that wasting resources on an imaginary being no one has ever found evidence of is no life. However, if you choose to, go for it.

I would suggest, though, that if "god" speaks to you, you seek to either get off the medication, or have someone prescribe medication, as indicated.

  • @mzmadmike - How can you speak for me? Why are you so angry that you personally attack me? Do you have anything positive to contribute? That would be good.

  • @fraggib

Prove that your life is more meaningful than mine.

I do many good things around my community, always there when help is needed.

So do you think, that according to your believes i deserve to burn in hell for an eternity?

I think your a decent being, you really dont wish for me to burn in hell. But as long as you believe in God, you actually are saying to me: You will burn in Hell. Your god lets his child suffer, because it didnt love him.

How morally evil is this? Even you should know.

  • @mymom1234 - It is up to you whether you follow the life God wants for you or go your own way. Heaven is where God is. Hell is where he isn't. You are opting for hell. God doesn't want anyone to go there but you are not interested in heaven. People killed God's son. People are guilty not God. Fortunately heaven is a perfect place made perfect because of Jesus who died for all our sins. You have a problem with belief. Don't blame God for evil in this world. I would like you to be in heaven.

  • @fraggib

I didnt blame god for the evil of this world, how can i? It's like blaming fairies.

I said that your god is being evil, i think, you and I would still love our children even if they didnt believe in us. And we wouldnt let them suffer for eternity if they dont.

That makes me and you morally superior to your god.

At least i think you wouldnt let good humans suffer for an eternity for not believing in god.

  • @mymom1234 - Jesus was the perfect man and is also God. He died in our place as the only one who could. He was raised from the dead like we will be. There is more than this world. I am eternally grateful he died for me so I can live with him forever. He voluntarily died for us, the human race. No one else could. Read Psalm 22, written about him by a man of God hundreds of years before he lived on earth and read John 4 about being perfect man and God. God's morality is about saving us. Seriously!

  • @fraggib

Again, do you wish for me and btw billions of others mostly in developed countries who do good like developing medicine, helping those in need out of pure empathy, not because they fear hell... to go to that hell? Because even after their last breath, they will strongly refuse your idea of a god?

Please answer this question for me.

  • @mymom1234 - There is no fear being a Christian and I think you will find it is mainly Christian organisations that help out under-developed countries because helping is what Christians do. You have made your decision on God. Fine. However, you will find that God is not just an idea. In fact, I am sure God will speak to you sometime during your life and I hope you are listening when he does because I'd love everyone to experience knowing their creator. It is what life is about. Cheers.

  • @fraggib

I really hope christians aren't doing good things just because god said so.

Is it that hard to accept that you do good things to people in need, like all we others do, because of one of the best feelings there is, empathy?

Even if sth would ever speek to me, id know it is a hallucination. But what about now? Somewhere an atheist in this world dies at this very moment. He was a good human, do you wish for him to burn in hell?

  • @mymom1234 - Of course, I try to do what God wants me to. A lot of people do things for their own Kudos. Doing good won't get anyone to heaven. It is having a personal relationship with Jesus that makes us right with God. Good works are done by Christians because they want to, knowing that they have eternal life already, not to gain it. As I said I don't want anyone to go to hell. That is why I tell people about Jesus but don't believe me, Read Mark in the New Testament. I leave judgment to God.

  • @fraggib

You dont want anyone to go to hell, but you now your god sends good people to hell, people who might have saved millions with the developing of medecine, people who lost their life while trying to save someone elses...

Well its obvious, you are following a god who is morally inferior to you.

  • @mymom1234 - You still don't understand. God does not send people to hell. In fact he wants everyone to be with him in heaven. People who don't believe in him ie reject him have chosen to live without him which is hell. Going to heaven or hell is not dependent on how good you have been. You are confusing Christianity with the concept of the Coca Cola Santa Claus. Jesus lost his life to save everyone who believes in him. He died to save millions of believers who now have eternal life. Up to you.

  • @fraggib

I live without him and i enjoy every second of this precious life. I dont think you can even imagine how important this is while believing in eternity after death. Sure you can say it, but to really understand how important and unique this life is and not inferior to anything else, you have to accept this is your one and only chance.

Dont feel offended by that statement, its the same you told me several times already only from my point of view.

  • @mymom1234 - Good for you. I am not offended by anyone's beliefs and I think it is important that no one rubbishes others as this video does. As I have already said, you have made your decision. I will keep on letting people know about God and point them to the Bible as the source document for them to read for themselves if they want to understand what a Christian is about. And you have the right to tell others about your beliefs whatever they might be. It's been nice chatting. Have fun! Bye.

  • I really thought it would be interesting to have a discussion on an atheist site. It hasn't turned out that way and in fact I find it depressing and was going to resign. However, I do have a thought. Without going to an atheist cheat site what do people think about the statement - "The only way for humanity to survive is for people to think about the welfare of others ie put others first before self". Anyone want to comment on this statement? Do you think it is true and do you want to elaborate?

  • @fraggib Why do you presume "cheat" and "Atheist"? Is this that "only Christians have a moral compass" bigotry?

There is an argument for putting others first, but it's dependent on circumstances. If the individual does not survive to reproduce, its genes die out. Putting one's family or group first is beneficial, and there are circumstances under which the culture or species takes precedence. However, a default to putting others first is detrimental and suicidal.

  • @mzmadmike - I am not presuming anything. The only comments against Christianity on here have been put forward from an athiest site - "cheat" as in study sites. I was not being derogatory here. I am not a bigot or I wouldn't be speaking to you. Putting family first, isn't that puttng someone else first. You are the first on here who has said anything positive about someone else. As far as the species takes precedence, I think you will find in most cases people won't consider this when threatened

  • @mzmadmike - It is amazing you speak of people dying for others. This is exactly what Jesus did. He died so others could live. He has actually saved a species, if you want to put it that way. It is just up to us to believe he did this for us so we can have a relationship with God. I know you are not prepared to believe this but that is your choice. Sometimes dying in someone's place as in wars and at other times is detrimental to that person but it isn't suicide. they have saved someone else.

  • What I have learned from comments here. Atheists don't believe in God. Christians believe in one God. Atheists believe in self gratification in this life. Christians believe in focussing on others rather than themselves. Atheists don't believe in life after this life. Christians believe in life continuing and for them a life of even closer relationship with God and this happens through Jesus.

I am praying for you guys that God will speak to you in some way so you know he exists. Thanks.

  • @fraggib No. Atheist lacks belief in gods. That's the definition of atheist. You are theist, you believe in a god. Only difference between you and an atheist is that atheist doesn't believe in your god either, just like you and they don't believe in Zeus, Thor, Osiris and so on.

You can cross your fingers and quietly talk to your imaginary friend but it won't change the reality.

  • @DonnZ0r - Lacks belief what is this? You either believe your you don't. No Christians believe in one God. The true God who made heaven and earth. I am not a polytheist which you are saying I am. This is not true. I definitely don't believe in Greek gods. I do have a great friend, in fact, the greatest. He is only imaginary in your own mind my friend. We will see who is right and who is wrong later. I don't need to cross my fingers. Thanks for your comments.

  • @fraggib You might want to read my comment again..

I said you are theist. You believe in one god you think is true and you do not believe in the other gods, Thor, Zeus etc.

The difference between you and an atheist is that atheist doesn't believe in your god nor any other god. You believe in your god but not any other god. Get it?

The point is that you think you are so sure about your god when there were more people before you who believed that their god is the one true god. You have no proof

  • @DonnZ0r OK - I am sure God exists because I have a personal relationship with Him. I started out by finding as much as I could about the Bible because at first I didn't believe in it. After reading writings by eyewitnesses of the events in Jesus times and seeing these writers were real people and all different in their own way I began to see something in it. It was then God spoke to me through these writings. I pray to him and he answers my prayers. If you have proof he doesn't exist, tell me?

  • @fraggib And people have personal relationships with zeus, osiris and so on. There are people today who can give you specific details of them being abducted by aliens. We do not believe these people.

You can believe in what ever you want, I'm fine with that. What I'm not fine is when those beliefs start to ooze into politics and way people are treated. Especially when those beliefs include torture for eternity for small crimes. God of the bible is not god I would worship.

  • @DonnZ0r - There are people who believe the world is flat. No one can distance themselves from their beliefs not even atheists who are affecting politics. If you read the Bible you will find a loving God who really feels for people. Jesus came to save people not condemn them. It might surprise you to know that there will be murderers in heaven like King David. I will be in heaven and I am far from perfect. Read the Bible please. The problem comes when people deny God. This is why I am writing.

  • @fraggib Yes. There are people who believe the earth is flat (bible says that too by the way) and people do not believe in evolution. There will always be people who do not study the facts and believe in stupid things. I have read the bible. Only difference is that I read the parts about slavery and other immoral things Jahve does instead of ignoring them. I do not lock my children in my basement to torture them for the rest of their lives, just because they didn't love me, like your god does.

  • @DonnZ0r - Once a person dismisses the moral code they can lie as much as they like. The Bible doesn't say the earth is flat, if it did you would prove it to everyone by quoting the book, chapter and verse. You have lied to me and others so can no longer be trusted. The rest of what you say is ludicrous and not biblical. If you don't respond with evidence of your claims don't bother me again I won't answer you.

  • @fraggib Isaiah 11:12 , Revelation 7:1

Sorry spheres do not have four corners. Bible refers to flat earth with four corners

    Job 38:13 , Jeremiah 16:19 , Daniel 4:11

The world is infinite, there is no end. Earth is sphere, you get to your starting point if you go around it. It's big concept to wrap your head around sure.

I'm sorry that you haven't read your bible. You can also interpret them any way you want. Also, there's 500 limit, which I have almost gone over with my every reply to you

  • @DonnZ0r - This is where ridiculousness comes in. Today we say you can go to the ends of the earth. We also commonly say 4 corners of the earth. We in Australia have a 4 Corners program on TV. We have the word 'news' that comes from north, south, east and west. Four corners or ends don't imply the earth is flat. You said the Bible said, "The earth is flat". That is a lie. You haven't shown me a verse that says this. You are saying it implies it. I say it doesn't. No one in their right mind would

  • @fraggib Exactly. Because you have an education. Yet you believe in book written by uneducated people in the bronze age. Saying the world has four corners means flat. You cannot have round object with four corners. Plus, Psalms 104:5 etc say earths foundation lays on pillars...

Same goes when people started realize that the world isn't geocentric but that earth rotates around the sun. Catholic church was all against that because the scripture teaches that earth is still.

  • @DonnZ0r - Hi - Most people understand literary devices. Shakespeare called a person "a goose". Are we to literally think this person was a goose? I am not a member of the Roman Catholic Church. I do believe the Bible and what it says. Where is the verse on "the earth is flat"? Where do you get your thinking from? If you are an evolutionist do you believe in Darwin's theory and have you read it?

  • @fraggib You might want to look into how your sect of Christianity came to be. You'll find close ties with Roman Catholic Church. I gave you the verses where it says the earth is flat. You want the text to read "bird" when it says robin. Same thing, different way to put it. I'm not evolutionist, nor am I big bangist or vaccinationist. I think Darwin's theory is great advance in science, but scientists understand so much more about evolution than Darwin did. DNA and all that stuff.

  • @fraggib Google for "The Scriptural Basis for a Geocentric Cosmology" if you want bible verses about geocentric world view bible gives.

  • @DonnZ0r - You said the Bible said, "The earth is flat". You are into literal meanings. It is no good pointing me to propoganda. I want you to let people know where it says in the Bible that the earth is flat. If you can't tell me I won't be responding to anything you say in future because you can't be believed. Thank you.

  • @fraggib I'm an atheist. I think the whole Bible is just collection of myths of Jewish people who lived in the bronze age. I do not set my life around it.

I showed you where the bible says earth has four corners and what it means. Spheres don't have corners. I kind of saw it would come to this. I show you where your fantasy beliefs collide with reality and you close your eyes, call me liar and walk away. "Nanana I can't hear you".

  • @fraggib We could go on and on about this but the historical fact is that people though that earth is flat and sun rotates around the earth largely because it appears to be that way and bible supports that view. Maybe one day you read the bible with bit more open mind and see how much stuff is wrong with it. Slavery, sacrifices, immorality, genocide and so on.

  • @DonnZ0r - I am not interested in going on and on. You won't tell me the truth so I am not prepared to go on with this. All the best.

  • @fraggib Spheres don't have four corners. Believe it or not.

  • Either God exists or He doesn't? One is right and one is wrong. I have enough evidence to believe He does exists. Do you have enough evidence to believe that He doesn't? That is the most important question you'll ever need to answer and it has to be the right answer.

  • If there is an atheist out there who is brave enough to let others know what they believe, I for one would love to hear it. So far, the only responses I have had have been personal abuse or abuse about my beliefs. What are atheists scared of? Criticism? Not having an argument? I don't know but like to know. Thanks.

  • "atheist out there brave enough to let others know what they believe?"

"I believe in the soul. The cock. The pussy. The small of a woman's back. The hanging curve-ball, high fiber, good scotch. I believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing astro-turf and the designated hitter, I believe in opening your presents christmas morning rather than christmas eve and I believe in long, deep, wet kisses that last three days." Crash Davis

  • @DickJohnson3434 The Bible sums this up very well. Psalm 14:1 - The fool says in his heart, "There is no God".

  • @fraggib

Really? That's your response? Perhaps "unintelligent" was way too charitable.

  • @DickJohnson3434 Yes that's my response. I believe in the Bible. How else would I answer? By the way I am not putting replies to uncouth language. It isn't intelligent. It lets people know the writer doesn't have a good grasp of the English language. You don't sound like you are having a good time in life. Thanks for your answers at least you have communicated something. And of course, you, like me are free to select how we live. Bye.

  • @fraggib

How else would you answer? Maybe with...I don't know... THOUGHT! Not zombie like repetition of a farcical book.

Your whole discussion had nothing to do with defending your beliefs or challenging others. It was a bitchy little complaint that atheists mock you because of your beliefs.

Then in a case of STUNNING HYPOCRISY you call me a FOOL for not believing as you do.

That is staggeringly full of shit.

    EPIC FAIL!

  • @DickJohnson3434 Can't take abuse? Then why continue abusing me which you have done from the very first time you contacted me. You contacted me remember? I respect your beliefs. You can believe whatever you like. I think it is very strange but that's ok. Bye now because you continue using revolting language. I don't think it is worthwhile when you can't use proper language to put your point across.

  • @fraggib

Can you follow a simple point? I'm not pointing out your abuse because I can't take it, I'm pointing it out because it is an example of mind blowing hypocrisy.

You can say whatever you want. I'm not such a little bitch that I have to whine and complain about it as my only counter. I'm just pointing out how hypocritical it is to whine about me calling your idea stupid when you do the exact same thing EXCEPT I actually say why you are stupid. You just say THAT I am. Not why.

    FAIL

  • @DickJohnson3434 - Is hypocrisy not believing what you do? You have only whined to me as you do now. It is not my idea. this is attack on me and not on issues. I have come to a conclusion that atheists are very angry people. It would be good if you could stay calm and talk about either Christianity or atheism. I know about Christianity and you say you do about atheism.

  • @fraggib

"Is hypocrisy not believing what you do?"

Do you seriously not understand why I called you a hypocrite?

Please, give me your best understanding as to why I called you a hypocrite. What did you do that was, at least in my mind, hypocritical?

Please, also tell me the idea which I called you unintelligent for expressing.

It seems like you are having serious trouble following what I'm saying.

  • @DickJohnson3434 - Why can't you accept that I have a different belief from you based on history over 1900 years of the existence of God's people before and during the life of Jesus. These were not my words but God's. I didn't aim this at you specifically but of course if the shoe fits. Why are you so agressive towards Christians? Sorry, I shouldn't have even answered this because of your revolting language.

  • @fraggib

It wasn't that you believed in God or even talking snakes that I called unintelligent. It was your retarded statement that you don't believe in atheists because they are the height of arrogance. That is an absolutely ridiculous and unintelligent thing to say.

Everything else you've said, and I do mean everything is just whining that I made fun of your idea, which makes you a hypocrite because the ONLY defense you offered of your beliefs was to call me a fool for not sharing them.

  • @fraggib

I'm sorry if you can't follow what I'm saying. In all fairness, it must be difficult trying to talk to so many people at once.

  • @fraggib You know what, fuck it. You wanna know what I believe in? I believe that the universe has always and always will exist, it was not created nor influenced by any outside being. I believe that human life arose from the anarchic nature of evolution and there was no predicting how it was going to end up. I believe that everyone, everyone has the right to believe whatever the hell they want, as long as they respect that everyone believes in something different.

  • @FlameMasterAxel Good for you. I agree everyone can believe what they like. I don't know where you get the idea the universe has always existed. I think most scientists believe in the big bang theory. You might like to let people know about that. I agree in respecting others' views and beliefs. This site doesn't do that. Thanks for your answer but if you want me to respond further please use words that are applicable to your argument ie I don't want to respond to what I consider revolting.

  • @fraggib But most importantly, I believe life is way to short to care about these things. I believe that everyone needs to get out there, have a good time and enjoy the fuck out of life, because you only get one..

  • I don't believe in atheists. All they are interested in is knocking others' beliefs. I have not had one atheist let me know what they believe on an atheist site. So how can anyone believe in them?

  • @fraggib

If this is a parody of really stupid people, then OK. But if this was a serious post by you, then you are jaw droppingly unintelligent.

  • @DickJohnson3434 Hi - This is serious. People do believe what others say and it appears to me that atheists are not interesting in adding to any conversation other than to mock other people's' beliefs. I think this is the height of arrogance and an unintelligent approach. People should not be mocked or condemned but all should be prepared to answer what it is they believe. If you think a discussion is unintelligent then so be it. I don't. You don't know me but straight off call me unintelligent.

  • @fraggib

"You don't know me but straight off call me unintelligent."

If you truly "don't believe in atheists" because they mock people's beliefs and don't try to assert equal and opposite foolishness about the existence of everything, then you are necessarily unintelligent, or at the very least, are in the middle of a very unintelligent train of thought.

See if you can spot the idiocy of this statement....

I don't believe in you because you are arrogant and unintelligent.

  • @DickJohnson3434 - It appears along with others you are unprepared to offer anything intelligent in response to your beliefs and can only offer abuse towards others who do. If you had the answers wouldn't you tell others about them? Spot the idiocy. I think that rests my case. Thanks.

  • @fraggib

You see, this is an excellent example of unintelligent thinking. Your accusation of idiocy is that I cannot offer "answers" to what I can only assume would be to questions like "where did the universe come from" and stuff like that which others would attribute to God(s).

Think about that. What is idiotic about not knowing how a universe can come into being?

Plus, what beliefs have I offered? You say I'm unprepared to defend my beliefs, but you don't even know my beliefs.

  • @DickJohnson3434 Hi - Do you have something intelligent to say?

  • @fraggib Hi - I don't believe in atheists. Do I have to? As far as knocking goes, you did this straight off towards me. I have now had two atheists give me some idea which is good probably because I said what I did.

  • i get the feeling he doesnt like mormons lol

  • In Soviet Russia, Atheists preach to YOU!

  • Is there an atheist out there prepared to say what they believe. It would be good to be on a level playing field to discuss that. Just knocking other's beliefs is a bit one sided and doesn't achieve anytihing. I am genuinely interested in what you might believe. To say "believe what you want" but then knock the believe is not a fair argument in anyone's terms. Thanks.

  • So, tl;dr, stop preaching. It's annoying and nobody likes it. Believe whatever the hell you want to believe, just don't get upset when I don't.

  • (cont) If a god exists, it doesn't exist in a nonexistent "creation moment", it exists within the interactions between particles that define the universe. Look for your god there, in the fundamental forces of the universe, not in the heavens, judging the peoples of a short moment in the life of a medium-sized rocky planet, orbiting an average-sized star, in the middle of the outer arm of a regular rotating spiral galaxy in the vacuum of space. It's not worth it.

  • (cont) The universe as a whole is the same way. It has always existed, and always will exist. It's finite with no boundary, like the surface of a sphere, only in four dimensions. The Big Bang and "Big Crunch" can be thought of as the poles of a sphere, but those are in no ways the "ends" of the sphere. We can't look for a creator, because there's nothing to create. That the universe evolved to produce us is only nontrivial in the sense that we are here to observe it. (cont)

  • (cont) far more than natural selection. Life is completely random. Trying to find the reason and processes behind evolution is futile. Everything we can know about it is limited by our own bias and the anthropic principle. We observe things they way they are because they evolved in such a way so we can observe them. But that isn't an endorsement of a creator. There were infinitely many ways the universe could have evolved. There's nothing special about us. (cont)

  • Yes yes, Darwin was wrong. But you know what, so what Newton, and Einstein, and Planck and Maxwell and Feynman and Hawking and everyone else who has ever proposed a scientific theory. But that's because as we learn more about the universe, we can take the incorrect parts of our theory and modify them so they work. That's not a bad thing. Science marches on, and to be stuck in an outdated worldview is a terrible thing. Evolution is driven by anarchic process and random chance (cont)

  • jesus in deuterinium, lol

also, i'm going to do that too now, looks like fun ^^

  • why is every one so brain-washed?

  • Great points. Keep up the good work man

  • Brilliant!: I think they call it ironic, lol... its not so nice when you get a taste of your own medicine huh. Is there an extended clip of this?

  • this guy is right.

Im apathetic. I don't care if someone's atheist, or christian. Just don't push your beliefs onto others. this goes for everyone, religious or not.

  • Imagine what a horrible thing it must be when one finally awakens out of their slumber only to learn that instead of preparing their children for a very competitive world they have programmed them for life to become handicapped by a false doctrine. Servitude to any religion or the supernatural is destructive and counterproductive. Phenomena must be viewed through the lens of intelligent and well informed scientific inquiry.

  • @JulesManson Oh, what's up Jules, why am I not surprised to find you here? Excellent comment, nicely done ;)

To anybody interested in intellectual discussions regarding Atheism, as well as some jokes, go visit The Atheist Advocate facebook page.

  • @KJRUSS0 Nice to see you here as well. =)

  • @JulesManson english please

  • @JulesManson Please, enlighten me on how religion in counterproductive and destructive today...I have never once seen an Atheist organization do anything charitable to anyone. Yet almost everyday you hear something about Christians/Muslims doing something to help the general community except for their selves.

  • @some1iknow1 charity is all well and good man, i dont think anyone can deny that, but it doesnt have to be done in the name of an organized religion to be helpful. there isnt really anything good about religion that cant exist without religion. its at best unneccessary, but it gets a lot worse too.

  • the 31 dislikes are all from humorless mormons

  • freakin sell it on the weekend how did he know what i do
