you clearly have no idea on how to surf........

there are so many things you got wrong in that video.

1st - a tailpad is not used instead of wax.....its aswell as wax

2nd- your defiantly not supposed to wax just were you think your feet will go. if you know how to surf half decently., you will understand that your feet are never in the same place for different manovers..

3rd-a wax comb dosnt go in circles,,, it goes diagonally in both directions so it "criss crosses"

@beachbum1468 the way i wax is rail to rail nose to tail( not all the way obviously) then diagonally and you get beads much quicker and easyer

Good video, but no mention of a base coat? Southern California surfer here. Pretty much everyone I know puts down what's called a base coat first. Look for wax in the store that says "base." Put that down first using the circular rubbing. It helps your cool/warm/hot top coat wax stick to your board (and not you, your car, ..). Once your base coat has been applied, put on the top coat using the same circular rubbing.

Its actually called a deck pad but yeah i wouldnt expect some one with dirty wax and a old mini mal to know that.

The best way to apply wax is to rub it onto your naked body and rub yourself on your board, its my personal favourite to watch so if you have any vids on this method id be really grateful if you forwarded them to me lol.ladies only :-P

lol, my friend yesterday went out without putting any wax on her board...I told her not to, but she didn't listen...then she wanted to try to stand up..I told her not to , but she didn't listen..

In the end she said she felt like she accomplished nothing!! lol! I need to send her this video! because obviously 'my ways of teaching' don't help her.

I know you don't have beaches in BFE but here in Cal there is usually a road...followed by a path...which turns into sand...that will end up leading you to the water...where the waves are...if you glance from sise-to-side in the summer you will see hot looking girls laying on beach towels too...not big fat redneck chicks waddling from their car into Walmart!!!
