I was a grip on this shoot. We are real soldiers. The name-tapes, ranks, unit patch, deployment patch and flags are off to preserve the anonymity of the talent. My unit was working as AFN Iraq and this project was a morale piece. The lakes are not natural, they were pools built by saddam and we actually had our water filtered from there.As for the people commenting about us wasting time/money/effort, this is our roll.
