@eclipsefreak2 I have no idea what Peter is saying, but it is in the Turkish language at beginning and end of the song. He lives in Turkey, and speaks fluent Turkish.
I loved bauhaus and what they did back in the late 70's / early eighties but sadly you can't turn the clock back....back when they formed they created music that came form their influences, surroundings and the people they were then.
Everythings moved on.....it's like trying to make 'carry on films' today...it wouldn't work because it caught the moment of the times as did Bauhaus who for Me will always go down as The Gothfathers !
Every single time I listen to this song, I expect it to break down into the solo from "Bite The Hand That Feeds"--i.e. at 0:38, am I wrong? And at 1:27 or so?
@Causticlight Murphy always sounded like Bowie but with a sense of humour. All those people saying Go away white doesn't sound like Bauhaus, obviously haven't heard much of their music! One of the reasons they were so special was that their sound varied so much. Does "The Three shadows" part 1 sound like "The Three shadows" part 2? Do either of them sound like "Stigmata martyr" or "All we ever wanted was everything"? I could go on but I'd only bore you and myself but I think I make my point
@KratEREZ As far as I'm aware, there's nothing to say that a misanthrope can't appreciate humour. I suppose it's a case of love the humour, hate the humourist! However, you're quite right, it's not my real name and it amazes me how few people pick up on it. I would say 99% of people take it at face value. Have to say I'm quite enjoying the change of gender, without having to undergo a painful operation! Congratulations on being in the 1%!
@MisAnnThorpe Naw, I can 'preciate satire and whatnot. Muhahaha, well I am a skeptic. So I take nothing at face value. Cool *goes to the party* Damn, only three people here. Should have been with the other 99%. Fuck lol
this sounds too much like bowie for my liking the best album bauahaus ever did was undoubtedly "in the flat field" they were something else in those days...such energy what a live performance i was glad to be around to witness and be their friend too...the days of peter kent..i also used to help stella peters girlfriend at the time with the fan club
I used to be a roadie for bauhaus during the mask years i meet them at the rock garden in covent garden.great time good memories.i filmed them at the hammersmith palais their last gig but i havent got the video graham who did the lighting has it.....oh well never mind that was my video career down the plug hole...
this album was damn good, too. id say its their second best (behind "mask"). there was absolutely no notice, no fanfare, nothing for them. what a shame - really. i mean, this band spawned a genre, practically. oh well.
I imagine fighting someone when i listen to this song

Two, I doubt you'd bore me, and yes, I believe you made your point.

@MisAnnThorpe I suppose I don't actually know. All logical inferences.
Well for starters, you find Murphy funny. Reason enough. lol
...but if it is, that is even cooler. Haha
