A good version from Jerry Vale. Cass Elliot had the voice and she sand her heart out on her version, my favorite one of this oft-recorded song. Thank you for this!
Jerry Vale did a great a job on this classic. If he recorded this version in the 1970's, he would've done an even better job on it in say , the late 1950's , early 1960's. We're all familiar with the Tommy Edwards version, so we tend to be loyal to that version, but Jerry's version is still excellent and in my opinion, is much better than the Nat King Cole version and a few other versions that have been recorded over the years.
what a gift

Nice rendition by Jerry Vale! Even Tommy Edwards will agree.

I think this recording lacks the same peaceful and soft tone the orignal had, but this one is still really good,

This was the b-side of "Stay Awhile". "Stay Awhile" charted at #27 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart.

I like Jerry Vale a lot, and of course he does a good job on this, but I think Tommy Edwards really owns this song.

I loved the Tommy Edwards original, but I have to say that this recording surpasses the original. Jerry Vale is superb.
