  • This is my first video of yours that I've seen and i just had to say that I am Thoroughly impressed by your flexibility. I've started mike chang's program on sixpackshortcuts, and I love my results so far, but realize that i'm also going to need more instruction for flexibility.   • @123qweasdzxcvb I usually don't reply to negative comments, but this actually brings up good points. I have 4 kids & my own business, so working out & staying healthy is even a challenge for me. My message is completely bullsh*t-free. I tell people everyday that the "secret" to true health is eating clean, organic whole foods & moving around (any way they want to) EVERYDAY. But I make videos for people who don't know where to start or just want to mix up their regular routine. No hatin'. xo Bex

  • @genghisgirl You say you have 4 kids and your own business. Your excuse is one of the reasons why other people have problems. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS BE active for 30 minutes A day and you will be healthy and live long. Your telling me you don't have time? NO ONE has time... if you actually care about your health you make time. tard.

I've always hated the gym but didn't really have much motivation to workout at home, you make it look so easy and attainable. Thanks so much! :)

  • You can intensify this by starting with a higher number of reps 10-1 and 1-10 or 15-1 and 1-15. Also try plyo push ups and jump squats. Progress you intensity. Get strong. Stay strong. Finish strong. TLAW. Rock n Roll.

  • @shannondavis5 build up your pushup strength using modified pushup with knees on floor. Make sure your toe are in the floor as well as if you were in standard pushup position. Hands should be near your chest at bottom pointed at 11 and 1 on the clock. Fingers spread and grip the ground. Abs and butt tight. Try some dead start pushups as well. Rock n Roll!

  • Yeah Yoga is something else ha ha ha :). I love Yoga I use it for warming up and cooling down when I'm doing my fitness workouts. It feels so good!

  • you look great!! I suggest going a little lower in your squats (below parallel). Lots of research done on this. Mark Rippetoe is a great resource if you need your information.

  • @sammileah Those actually KILL my knees.

  • @genghisgirl Do you have a knee injury? It might hurt a little at first but it will actually strength your knee joint if you're doing it correctly (with chest up and knees not over feet). I remember feeling weird about it when I first started but it really improves your quad strength and gives your glutes a full range of motion. Good luck!

  • @shannondavis5 @TacticalGamesReviews is right... if you "suck" at something, that's all the more reason to keep doing it. Try doing the pushups with your knees and toes on the floor. After you build up some strength, you'll be able to lift your whole body up. Search "how to do pushups for beginners genghisgirl" for my how-to pushup video. xo

    An easy way is to just do 'girl pushups'-- just keep your knees on the ground when you do them.
