  • Good I like it

  • @MrDabindra Thanks! That's great to hear. = ) Good luck with your English studies!

  • I thought IPA was beer

  • I love your help, brazil.

  • @bacluci I'm happy this helped you! I hope you continue to enjoy my lessons = )

  • Thanks for the lesson. But I was wondering if clothes and close are pronounced the same. Some Americans seem not to utter the th sound in clothes. But I can hear the way you say clothes is different from close. Could you kindly explain it a bit?

  • @sammiwago Are you the 'Sam from Taiwan' who left a message on my FB page? It's nice to see you on YT, too! = ) Obviously the 'correct' pronunciation would be to pronounce the 'th,' but in casual, everyday conversation, most people don't pronounce the 'th.' As I said in the video, it sounds like 'close.' As long as you don't turn the word into two syllables and say "clo-thes," you'll be fine!

  • @TeacherMelanie Yes, I am. Nice to have your reply so soon, and thanks for your detailed explanation.

  • Thank you. You are absolutely right. These are exactly the words we have problems with. Well done.

  • Great work, thanks ;-)
