  • So in all kindness, you see how easy it is to read comments and possibly assume the guy is a jerk i.e. me for writing anything about your video. I never meant this and am glad you did not appear to take it that way, thank you. I respect anyone who is trying to do what Pat Parelli teaches. I too aspire to truly reach my horse's intellect and have become a changed person by doing so. I now think like a horse, at least when I am dealing with horses and sometimes with a few people. LOL

  • I am glad you clarified on that because I really wasnt sure. =) But it is always a good test for my emotional fitness, in posting videos on here, never knowing what kind of comments I will get. Its nice to hear from another like minded person. Thanks!!

  • Nice moves, did you want your horse to dissengage and come to you or stay at the lead length and swing in facing you, two eyes two ears? Think the other horse got it via his attention? I do.

    Dusty there is it?

  • I had asked him to disengage and come to me. At the time I was just playing around and really had no idea as to how to teach this task. He has been off from an injury for most of this year so I am going to have to totally re-teach it anyways. Luckily I worked on it with an instructor with my other horse, so now I actually know what I am supposed to be asking for. LOL

  • Awesome!! Are you gonna submit this one with your level 3? I would say it would pass easy.

  • Well my laptop crashed and I did not have a hard copy, so I will have to re-tape it. And I was told that you are not supposed to disengage at the end so mine was "incorrect". I believe its fine in the beginning stages, according to the pocket guide, but eventually you want to have them sidepass to you. I really dont know what the criteria is for a pass though.

Thanks to everyone for the comments!!

  • Great Job! I must say, the "on-looker" is adorable!!!

  • Great Job!! Your horse has a wonderful expression. Loved the audience too.
