Yes it would. XD Half the wii games that are made allow you to use classic/gamecube controllers. Who says u need motion control? Only game I own that HAS to use motion control is Mario Galaxy. The rest I use my trusty cube controller which is basically a PS2 controller. So it would work.

true but it would be so scaled down, the wii still doesn't look as good as the gamecube. The katamari series belongs to the playstation family, and plus, there is no point of making the gamecube controller adaptable. This is because it just wouldn't feel right. As in katamari where it has tank-like controls
