All of those people have had cell phones for at least 10 years. They know how to turn them off, and that they are supposed to turn them off.

This was a tough day for Gibbs, bc Obama reversed himself on the photos.

It's pretty obvious that some members of the Press Corps were making their phones ring, calling each other on purpose, to save Gibbs from having to deal with this uncomfortable issue.
