I was just going by the counter here and the brake lights. It showed the race lasted about 10seconds or so. And that isn't close to a 10 second run. Looking at the vid. That was probably not even a 1/8th mile, from what the vid shows vid shows..Looked like your car hooked up right off the line. But watching a vid and actually being there in person are 2 different things. I am sure the chevelle didn't expect that. I am not putting your car down. It runs pretty good for a import

looked like the chevelle is a stock small block, and may have got him at the end. Would be interesting to here what he would have to say about it. He also sat there and spun. It was a close race though.The little civic looks like it runs pretty good over all though. Not putting your car down here. try the same race for the quarter though. it is to be expected for the import to pull good for a little bit. But a 1/8 mile isn't what the V8s are made for

1/8? we raced until the mid of 4th gear n i revved 2 high in the start so i was spinning till the mid of 3rd gear whn i finally gripped i began 2 pull on him tht was prolly a liitle shorther that a quarter cuz i finish the quarter prolly the end of 4th gear i dnt have to shift into 5th n if we would have kept going i would have gained mor and more if you watch i was pulling on him until i braked

@slowmotion4x4 LoL you got it wrong dude its the opposite imports are made for top end v8s are torque monsters. v8 will run 10.5 @125 a civic will run 10.5 @135 due to traction 60ft hook up. so at the top end civic will pull away unless they race light to light.

@noob100 I am not sure how you got that twisted. It depends on what v8 you are talking about though. Most small blocks have to rev high just like an import to make most of there power. Big blocks like mine make massive torque, so you are you are right there. My car probably makes double of an import. To say an import will pull away on top end is far from correct. Watch any vid of a big block running and you will see they pull harder and harder on top end. Mopars especially.
