The debate is over. With time and the Supreme Court ruling. The People have the right to bear arms. Time has proven all the gun contorlers wrong. No wild west, no mass shooting in the street. But what concerns me is the liberal news. Recently a news about a man shooting a girl friend and her son at a work place happened. What the news refuses to report is that this work place was a GUN FREE ZONE. I had to dig that up. Something needs to be done.

It depends on where you are at. In Washington State, for example, one must have a concealed weapons permit to carry a loaded firearm in the vehicle, even if it is in plain view. Other locales differ.

There are difrent laws in difrent states. In WI it must be in a case and unloaded.

I was in my locale gun shop buying ammo..

2 mexican boys were in the shop also..

1 could speak english..1 could not..

1 was a legal..1 was not..

both had texas issued conceled carry permits.....What the hell is up with this..

Even the gun shop owner had to check the federal codes..

California is what is sometimes called a "may issue" state. They do not interpret the 2 send amendment as meaning that the person has the right to carry and that it more of a privledge, thus they treat it that way. I live in Kentucky which is a shall issue state, which means they see it as a right. We also have open carry as well.

Both Illinois and Wisconsin are embroiled in big battles over CCDW now. I think Wisconsin is leaning pro-CCDW but Illinois being led by Chicago are still leaning no to CCDW.

dude im in newjersey and i hate it here. we do not get banned from owning a gun but to get one is the hardest thing ever . they make u fill a ton of paperwork and jump thru hoops but we do get banned from carrying one .

I was not really aware of it until a couple of months ago but Kentucky along with many other states do allow open carry without a permit. Very few people actually do open carry but it is legal. In our state the process of getting your CCDW takes about 8-10 weeks from start to finish. The course consists of 8-10 hours of classroom and range training. Of course background checks are required. Total cost comes to about $120.

Are the majority of anti-gun people liberals? Absolutely!, however, we shouldn't fall into the complacent mindset of thinking all Republicans are strong gun defenders.

That is why I support gun owners of America. The only non-compromise anti-gun-control lobby.
