it's interesting to see that, even at their level, there is still that artistic self-doubt and struggle...no matter how many millions have been thrilled by every note they've ever played... it just shows that really every artist has to go through nearly the same struggles regardless of their level of success or talent
This is hilarious... just look at how those two are really just using the interview as a time to talk with each other (Ed and Thom) about what they seem to need to say about the past.
I hate this fucking interview so much. I'm a young musician putting together a meager studio in my home and trying to create my own brand of indie music. And to hear Thom and Ed so that THEY don't think they're music is always good enough makes me feel like I will never be remotely listenable. Hahaha. DO THEY NOT KNOW THAT THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY, MIND-BLOWINGLY, DIVINELY TALENTED?!
@semperfidelis3100 they're not saying they don't make good music but that they can lose confidence in themselves whilst making a record. I love how they've stuck together and pulled through all these years to yet again release a great record. I can't thank this band enough for what they do.
I actually seen a picture of Thom's kids on his wife's website.. The back of their heads are adorable.(: Agnes Mair is blonde, I think. And so is Noah.. Can't tell for sure, but his wife is pretty attractive too.. [from the looks of it].
Ok. Here's the obvious: love them! The more they relax and discuss real life situations, quite frankly, the more I respect them and would love to just hang out and have a drink with them. Despite previous press about how "difficult" Thom is, I'll bet he's fun when he's at ease. I'll bet they all are...
you guys will always be relevant and we will always want new music from you guys. please never stop and know we all love the things you have done for us and will be forever thank ful.
Thats why I love RH they are brave enough to go to those dark place which build strength, and gives there fans empathy for those times we get lost in the dark. Thank you Radiohead, and Pink floyd for allways being there.
Is this the end for Radiohead?? C'mon, Radiohead fans, they've given us the best musical years of our lives, we have to think about what's best for them too, they've given so much to us, it's time to give back... So if they DO end up stopping, we should accept their decision, even if it will break our hearts...
Rock stars... can they be so down to earth like this??? 0_o Having delivered a chart topper they should be on cloud nine... oh, but Radiohead ain't like any other rock band!
god shutup

Pop - Radiohead is too dark, and experimental to be pop
Rock - Radiohead is too weird and experimental to be rock.
So what the fuck are they?

No doubt it's very interesting!
I think they are very well, cheerful at interview.
