Simply from the previews and Arenanet's philosphy on game making I can already tell you it's going to be tiers higher than Cataclysm, I played WoW in the golden days of Vanilla, BC, and then the terror that was WOTLK that ruined it. If you haven't been playing since Vanilla, your argument on what makes/made wow good is completely invalid.
I played since day 1 vanilla, and as much as people call it the "golden age" of wow, it was utter shit. The only thing that made it seem amazing was the fact that it was all new.
Warhammer Online sure looked great based off of what the developers were saying, but it obviously failed hard.
Guild wars 2 will be successful, but to compare 2 games that haven't even released yet is quite hilarious..
