  • Love the second part (Jig). Nvr heard anything like it.

  • great

  • Nice to see a woman playing the banjo for a a change!

  • @Frakfayt You should like Angelina Carberry !

  • @edelahaye I have to find who she is first. But I am always interested to see women on the front stage,

  • @Frakfayt search on youtube. Some great videos ! She is one of my favorite banjo player.

  • @edelahaye Just found her. She rocks! Thank you for the information. Are you a banjo player yourself?

  • @Frakfayt Yes, banjo, bouzouki, mandolin ...

  • @edelahaye I also play, but not in a band. I started with the guitar in France, when I was 18, and some years ago took up the bouzouki and the tenor banjo. My problem is that I don't play enough, and I don't learn well in sessions: too many people, and most with a background in Irisn music which I hardly have. I plan to get a good banjo, a Deering as a friend suggested, and focus on that and the bouzouki. I live in Cambridge UK. And you?

  • @Frakfayt I live in Paris. I'm a teacher of Irish music, and my banjo/mandolin workshop starts in the next hour !

Yet Another Internet Addict ...

  • @edelahaye Genial! A plus tard et merci.

  • can anyone suggest the best place in NI to purchase a banjo?? any help much appreciated! Looking for one the same as Luke Kelly was famous for playing...

  • @kieranmckay1979 A good place is 'banjoteachers' dot com on the net.

  • fantastic channnel

  • Is she really small or is that banjo really big?

  • Maith thú a chailin. Bhi sin go hAlainn. I see Kevin got a mention and a fine banjo player, he is too. I heard him play many's the time in Doolin. The first time I heard him, he was arguing with John King as to how a certain tune started. I finally shouted "Just play the bloody thing" and they did. It was magic.
