  • His two arms are not very symmetric, right arm higher?

  • I breathe every 3 strokes too. I like the way thig guy swims. I just noticed his right goes very high during recovery...is there a reason for that?

  • Hi, I'm trying to "push my buoy" to get the downhill sensation but not really getting anything...

I'm keeping in FQS and rolling my torso, but on the side I don't breath to, I am having trouble stopping my head from turning with my body.

any suggestions on strokes per length in a 33 yrd pool if I'm training for open water?

    Cheers

    Matt

  • nice vid, cool music. make more of these vids!!

  • Bill is certainly from the "FQ camp"(so to speak). What is critically important to notice with Bill's stroke however(akin with the likes of his team-mates, Thorpe and Hackett),is that whilst he appears to be "catching-up" as you call it,he never actually pauses within his stroke and is always smoothly flowing from one stroke to the next.

  • Thanks. I am a masters swimmer and a coach. Great video. Thanks. Whit

  • And the idea of course is not to fight the water... but push forward without to much strength involved
