@05tech The reason AT&T's sound quality is better is mainly due to the technology itself being better (AT&T's HSPA as opposed to Verizon's EVDO Rev. A). That's also the reason why Verizon is slower, AT&T has better technology and has refined their network nicely to be up to 3 times faster than Verizon.

Only reason I changed to Verizon was b cuz of my bill but honestly my iphone 3gs was faster on AT&T, now i have an iphone 4 with verizon and its EXtremely slow. ive had an iphone since 2008.

all this reviews about the iphone got me sick already... like really just because you have an apple branded phone doesnt mean shit. att and verizon are good if your willing to pay an arm and a leg... ill just stick to my HTC EVO 4G which i have 4G coverage where i live and blows out att and verizon. sprint is better and cheaper and there is no other platform that can beat android. just read the marketshare percantages and you will see.

On a recent survey on cell phone carriers by consumer reports at&t was rated dead last in all of the carriers. 1 Verizon 2 Sprint 3 Tmobile 4 At&t. At&t has horrible coverage, 3G to be exact and does not have 4g. They are calling their 3g network 4g soon WHich is hspa. Sprint is better than at&t. Sprint has 3x the 3g coverage of at&t, more reliable, cheaper and the best plans, better phones, and has 4g. Can`t deny the facts. That is why at&t was rated last and sprint was rated number 2.

Everyone has to stop with this AT&T vs Verizon. I have the verizon iphone and yes the test will vary depending on the location, but by next year verizon and at&t will have LTE iphones and we will then see who is faster. Right now you can't compare because they use different technology.

At my office, my buddies and I tested our phones (I'm on AT&T), they're on Verizon.

I scored almost 2.8mbps downstream, they only scored 600-800kbps.

Verizon is also throttling peoples' download speeds according to wired.com's article, "Verizon iPhone Shows You Can’t Win: Carriers Hold the Cards."

AT&T is about 25 to 35% Constantly faster on DL and about 15% faster on UL speed. it makes big difference in a Minute that is nearly 20 seconds fast in a minute and up to 20 minutes faster in an hour lol

@LyperArts Its because the iPhone has only been on AT&T since it came out 4 years ago. Now its finally on a another carrier which is Verizon. And yes there are physical changes like the antenna placement and its CDMA instead of GSM.
