My sleepy lived for 17 years and reached a length of 14" in a 30Lx14Wx20D tank. Dont feed them everyday. 2 goldies a week in winter sometimes less. 10 a week in summer but not every week, give them a week break now and then. I could feed mine by hand.
Beware of feeding wild caught rice fish etc to your pets. Stick with trusted live feeders from shops that have a quarantine procedure for new stock.
