I'd just like to interject for a moment, what you're referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.

@boabie Yes, but describing that in layman's terms can be difficult, and most people have already heard of linux, so I simply refer to it as linux when I'm talking to a not-all-technical crowd.

Just messing with you bro. That text/meme stems from Richard Stallman's crusade on getting recognition for his earlier work. Would be nice to get his thoughts on your presentation for that matter as he was the precursor to much of what you discussed. IIRC though he's against youtube :/

I just made a solar rc car as a project for the first semester of engineering, and even dough i got 3rd on the race cause of a last minute fail i feel proud LOL you're a genius (i was going to win no doud but the pcb fried and we had no control over the r/c)
