i was wondering do the scale mudflaps actually nook stones down when the trucks throw them because i have problems with my truck thrrowing stones sometimes hitting cars me my dog and im not kidding there good sized pebbles and some times they will actual hurt a good bit. plus im afraid i car will pull over when they go by while im doing a donut and get hit by rocks. so do the mud flaps actually nook stones down like real ones do or are they just scale

if u get xtm x-cellorator shocks in the rear u will get like another inch of travel so u dont have to get the back wide and if u run 40wt shock fluid in the front and 45wt in the back u truck will look more realalistick doing smaller jumps or hitting whoops in the desert

i got them at radio shack and i wired them both to a 9v battery and then to an on and off switch at the back of the body. and to install them i just drilled out a 1 1/2 hole and then drilled out the mounting screw holes then just screwed the fan into the body.

The blue one is the traxxas steering servo, and the black one is connected to an on and off switch for the lights

@SharpShooter057 Very cool idea btw, I never liked having to unplug.replug the 9V on custom LEDs. ;) But doesn't the weight of the 2 spare tires cause the truck to sag or wheelie up too often under power? Cool truck!

actually they havent seemed to affect the handling what so ever which surprised me alot. it even handles good off jumps as long as u hit the brake haha. but yeah, it dosent roll, wheelie or sag. but then again i do have the big bore shocks in the back haha.

Unfortunately no i don't.. Your best bet would be to look online, check out forums and stuff and ask around. Im sure there's someone that has done it before. Ill let ya know if i come across someone who has done it already.

I don't think so, cause the slayer is AWD

A little trimming and cutting, and yeah, there's a few adjustments that had to be made, but its all good.

Actually, I take it to my local track when ever i get the chance, which is about once or twice every other week. I dont use these tires or this body though of course lol.

no, not with a 7 cell, the car wieghs about 8pounds so its a little to heavy, but when i put my 11.1V lipo on it, yeah, it does some wheelies haha

yeah, and about 1cm so it would fit onto the bulkhead and about half a cm so the castor blocks would fit.

also what do you mean when you said you had to trim down the jato arms to fit the bulk head? are you refering to the castor block? because i was looking at doing this same thing but with t he aluminum or the carbon fiber arms...that way i wont have to trim for it to clear the shock...

I had to trim the inside jato a arms so it would fit into the bulkhead, cuz the arms were to small, and i had to do the same thing for the castor blocks as well. what i said was right. I just dont think i worded it so well. my bad
