Check her other video on training cats. She had problems remembering what cat she had, she told us she had a " Ma? ma? ma?...maine coon" Hehehehe... She didn't even bother to redo the video.

I just tell my cat "stop" and he does... Cuz when he was young everytime he did something he wasn't supposed to do (like claw the carpet or the armrests to my couch) I would say "stop" in a firm voice while rubbing the fur on his head the wrong way (cats don't like this)... Now all it takes is stop.

My cats help me make the bad too. I think it's cute. I cover them with the sheet and play with them. They have fun, I have fun, the bed gets made, and nobody goes running through the house in distress with tape on their feet.

Hahahaha...you're right. This doctor seems to hate all those nice things cats do. I try to imagine her home : all furniture covered in tape, guests stick to it, cats stick to it..everybody carries a paper stuck to his/her behind. Why doesn't she find an easier way to keep her cats away from furniture? Doc, put a scratching post near the sofa and the cat will sharpen its nails on that. Guaranteed ...as it works better for the cats, they just know what's best for them.

Its a small furry animal that will respect your natural size and strenght.

You should be the leader of the flok enough to simply be able to tell your cat not to scratch or whatever!

Being the leader of the flok works for dogs and not for cats. There is a different approach when trying to train a cat.

Dogs follow a leader (human or dog). Cats don't. They are felines.

I am among those "stupid" cat owners who read a lot about the cats' behaviour and I "tricked" my cat into behaving. Funny hmmm?

the adhesive also gets on the cats paws and the cats try to lick off the adhesive and some of the glue is toxic and allergenic to some cats.

the tape thing.. my cat chewed through the tape and then proceeded not only too claw the couch, but also the rug, which I'm sorry, I'm not putting tape on. Because then I would be the fool shaking tape off of me.
