Any Tips for Creating Video Tutorials?

Those that type in notepad instead of speaking problem either has too much background noise they can't get rid of and/or they hate the sound of their recorded voice. For me it's both of these. As long as someone using closed caption and I don't have to wait for every single word to be typed into notepad, I really don't mind so much.

I will show the download if it is a small app, or if there is junk that needs to be opted out of during the install. I am a technician, but media presentations aren't my strongest point. Heh... So I am always looking for ideas.

theres a free version of camtasia studio and its legal and has many great editing tools and screen capture methods

I have to admit I had to look up the word "screencast" in Google while I was watching this video. At first I assumed it was the same thing as a "vidcast," but now I know better. You may want to provide definitions for ill-informed yokels like me out there.
