First of all, let me say that the respect you show for any firearm, and they safe way in which you (and all of your crew) operate them is an inspiration. What's more, your attitude seems second nature and not a conscious action proving that you've got that 'skill-set'
I'm kinda old-school. I was in the scouts and have always believed in the 'Be Prepared' motto. Sadly, I also live in Australia which has banned (or restricted heavily) many types of firearms, and knives.

Where I am from down here in South Florida they are still easy to find.
Your damn right about guns Nutnfancy, but its so silly that you even have to talk about these things. Its like lecturing 30 minutes how knives are sharp and fire is hot. I'm not saying anything against you, just saying how can people be this silly. Bah i take personal responsibility and training to handle dangerous things reasonably over any regulation any time!
Speaking about gun ownership and responsibility... when a life is threatened at home or away and seconds count to save you or your family's life, remember just call the police. They are only minutes away.
When i was a kid in the UK we played with knifes in the woods and tools in my garage, we made bows and arrows if we wanted to go somewhere we walked or took our bikes, we had no mobile phones, we came back when we were told and if we did not we got a smack round the back of the head.
I'm not far form 40 and last time i checked i had a dam good childhood.
When you disarm your citizens, you allow them to become nothing more than lambs to the slaughter! Keep your firearms. Support the NRA. Support your representatives that support firearm CCW and ownership! If you do not want guns in your society... the go live somewhere where they are banned!
OMG, when you said about us uk views knowing what its like to be run by the government nutn you are spot on the outdoor facilities in the uk is shite i have all the gear for hiking but you carnt get away from people over here, on a hike you are never further than 1 mile to a cafe its so tragic. i just saved up £80 for my first knife the becker bk2 and can barley use it even if i got caught in a forest i would proberbly be arrested and have it taken off me
WHOA, what is this pipe doing unfenced? we have to erect one immediately so that no child, no dog no muskrat no herbal no orangutangs no breakfast cereals will ever fall into that ditch again, oh look another child climbed the fence and drown...hmm...lets try banning guns maybe that will stop kids from drowning....<-the liberal mindset
I've worked on and around heavy machinery, used dangerous tools, driven an old 3-wheeled ATV (which I've had people telling me is a "death machine") and am a firearms enthusiast, and I am still here.
The best way to protect yourself is to practice "safety first". It starts with you. Those who disregard that basic rule because they chose to deserve what accidents or other consequences that they have coming. That is what natural selection is for.
Everything you say is also how my parents have raised me. People are not stupid, we can have common sense, we can have self-reliance and common-sense.
Great video. Come to Australia to see how far the nanny state can go in the spreading of fear. Here self defense or personal protection is NOT A VALID reason to own a firearm. Don't give them an inch or they will take a mile!
Also i shoot alot alone, people think i am crazy for that and i will killl sombody, and hunting oh no, if i say that everyone thinks of hunting people, luckly i live in the semi-backwoods. i am going to fav this so everyone that views my channel can see this
Nutnfancy, i am 13, in the eighth grade and the teachers act like we havent seen day before. Don touch anything sharp without permision, only saftry scissors, and heven frobid we talk about gunns or knives because we will be looked at as terrosts or mentaly unstable. People think im crazy because i wear 5.11 boots and edc a flashlight to school, ,witch i got in troble for. yes a flashlight. i got searched in front of most of my grade and i got in troble for a flashlight. People are crazy !
I own a firerarm and I carry concealed every day. However the idea that every person should be able to do so with no regulation as to training or firearm is not the answer, IMO. I have encountered too many "sheepdogs" in my days that are more of a danger to themselves and others than to the bad guys. Do I think Class 3 destruction devices should be legal? No I don't. Do I think conceal carry should be legal? Yes I do, but at least some training should be involved.
no such thing as an austin martin brah. & you can't compare a 350z to an Aston Martin...lol that's like driving a moped then you ask if he likes Hayabusas. And my point still stays the same, you can never be careful in an uncontrolled environment...i.e. another 350z or an 'austin martin' driving that fast or even a stalled vehicle just around that bend.
You mention the UK, but here in the Netherlands the laws and the principles behind it on banning "dangerous things" are probably just as bad as there though.
Don't confuse carelessness with competent use? With the proper skill set and proper training? so, you're saying you were trained properly and have skill enough to drive a 350Z that fast on a PUBLIC road very safely? I'm an EMT and trust me, we've rushed to auto vs. pedestrian scenes way too much on roads such as these. "whoah dude hold on, that is careless driving", indeed. I've watched your videos and you do a helluva good job and this is no exception but this driving was just bad example.
@PsycheHED whoah hold on. 1 of the things that TNP says in the video is that if something bad were to happen you are the one to blame. that means everyone should be accountable for the consequences of their actions. NTP drove that way in "roads such as those"knowing that the unexpected can happen but.. WHOAH HOLD ON AGAIN... did you see him driving over a pedestrian? THE ANSWER IS NO. watch again the vid when he is driving the car he mention something about some bikers and being CAREFUL about it
finally some one who says its bad parenting!!!! i agree with you on every point and are the same points i live by... yes everything can be dangerous...
its just as easy to kill/harm some one purposefully with a ball point pen/pencil as it is to accidentally kill some one with a motor vehicle...
so does this mean that we not only have to ban guns, knives, cars that can do more then 3mph, and writing utancils?
if someone is crazy enough to go shoot somebody, what makes lawmakers think that that will follow some convoluted law on banning guns that he will just disregard anyways since i'm pretty sure he's breaking the law with attempted murder
excellent, everything you said was on point as usual . most of this comes out of my mouth daily . common sense is an understatement for what you;ve said great vid
AMERICA LOVES TO MAKE GOOD PEOPLE INTO FELONS.....Getting a dui.makes you bad?Doing drugs makes you bad? They love to strip your freedom and take your rights away...
Do you think the same policy of no regulations should be applied to recreational drugs and alcohol too nutnfancy? The same reasoning applies to them as well I think personally. They can be used responsibly and safely by people and have been for thousands of years in every culture. Sure they can be abused just like anything else that is "dangerous" but a good example to look at is the Netherlands decriminalization of soft drugs and the decrease in abuse.
Also it has been seen many times in history that prohibition of drugs and alcohol does not work. America's war on drugs has done nothing to combat dangerous drug use and only serves to fill up prisons with non violent offenders and ruin families. America's prohibition of alcohol did nothing but create a dangerous criminal black market that resulted in many deaths
Colonel Nutn- they will never get it. Gun laws are useless because CRIMINALS do NOT follow laws! They know that bad guys can get Nuclear material in a 3rd world country where food is not available, but they think a Ban in this country will make it hard for thugs to get firearms! Its a joke...
Billy! Stop running over the goats!!! Oh, just found this out too, the persentage of vehicular deaths per year are WAY WAY WAY WAY higher per year as the number of gun related deaths. Protectionests are retarded.
Couldn't be said batter, Nutnfancy has the best videos that I have been looking for on YouTube. Making Youtube better one video at a time! Thanks for your work, time and service that you have provided us with!
The problem with this thinking (not saying it is wrong, just a flaw) is that 90% of people who own guns don't have the skill set or common sense to handle them competently and safely. And we will never have everyone handling guns properly, fact of life.
@skillfulsnipes true we may never have "everyone" handling firearms properly, but i believe your statistics will be flipped the other way around. as the majority of fire arm owners already handle firearms safely, and those who dont may face the consequences someday. i can tell you from personal experience that just watching the nutnfancy channel has taught me many new ways to safely handle firearms.
@skillfulsnipes You gotta love people with zero common sense to even go look up a statistic. They just like to pull a random percent out of their ass to try and stay in or start an argument. We know now who doesn't own a gun and if he does he has never shot it in his life.
@surfmac211 Your right I've never shot a gun in my life and it would be illegal for me to own one cause I'm a minor and neither of my parents own a gun. And you are again correct that I made up that percentage, but I didn't see your rebuttal to my argument.
hey nutn, you know that little bit where you compare gun laws to swimming pools and how that they could make an argument to get rid of them? well in CA it is state law that you have at least a 6ft fence surrounding your pool to prevent children (whether or not you have any) from getting in unattended
the most dangerous weapon human kind has EVER faced, is ourselves. anything we implement to cause fear, harm or death is only an extension of man's inability to live harmoniously with the good, god fearing peoples of the world.
Nutn, you are so completely and totally on target with this video. OMG, I haven't heard anyone express/explain it like you just did. This video should be played on national tv EVERY NIGHT !!!! You are totally correct about personal responsibility and how it's being disintegrated in our society. I am glad that I ran across your channel because you really are about the truth. Stonehombre out!!
My point is that the mass shooting arguments are too susceptible to counter arguments. They are not a productive way to argue for CCW. Yes, they can be plausible, but the fact that they do not happen very often makes them much less effective. IMO, stick with personal protection, it's the best and most plausible argument for CCW.
I really enjoy your videos. However, I believe that personal protection is a better argument for CCW than mass shootings. In your McDonalds scenario, a Bad Guy walks in and opens fire with a machine gun. 6 armed Good Guys are in the McDonalds. When the Bad Guy opens fire, Good Guy #1 also starts shooting (at the Bad Guy). How is Good Guy #2 (who had his back turned when the shots rang out) able to distinguish between the Bad Guy and the Good Guy who was simply returning fire?
I live in the UK and i know exactly what you mean. ive got an air rifle and a pistol, and there are so many regulations for them, like you cant own a air rifle if you live within a mile of a major road, and its just too much. great vids, liked and subscribed ;)
Experience and proper education is the only method of protecting society. Ive been brought up around guns my entire life, I was stripping and cleaning my oldmans pistols at 6 years of age. This taught me respect and resposiblity with firearms.
I checked out that stab proof knife, 1 you can still slice somebody up pretty bad if a person wanted to, 2 nothing is stopping you from reshaping that point on a bench grinder or something else, 3 there will always be a way to kill someone if a person really wanted to, Like Nutin said, instead of trying to do away with the object that could potentialy cause harm in the hands of a bad person, teach people self responsibility and proper use.
"If you outlaw guns, only outlaws will have guns." Yes, it's cliche, tired, we've all heard it a thousand times. But that doesn't make it any less true. Those who go through the hassle to get their CHL... are NOT the ones who are out to commit crimes & hurt innocents. They only wish to be able to protect themselves, & others, in the event of some sicko going on a killing spree. Banning guns does not make all guns magically disappear, it only disarms the good, law-abiding citizens.
100% right. You can find on YT video from London where 30 policemen was trying to stop guy with machete. They couldn't use guns - because they had no guns, they had no batons, no knives, no tasers. They used garbage bin to stop him. Ridiculous. And yesterday's tragedy in Norway: a lone political extremist bombed the government center killing 7 ppl and for over 90 min was shooting to some young kids- over 80 more killed! If just 3 of this guys had guns bad guy would be killed and others safe.
there will always be crimes and just because the goverment make guns and knifes legal. the bad guys still get guns and knifes so what is the point of do guns and knifes legal its so fuked up
i live in the uk and i just want a gun and go out and have a good time. i wouldent hurt enyone, but just because there is some idiots that CANT handel a weapon right then its going out of them there CAN handel a gun or knife right, and im so pissed over that. i have 2 knifes and one of them is legal and i havent hurt enyone with it.
Perfectly explained Nutn, I feel exactly the same as you about this. Living in the UK you realise how ridiculous it all is. So the government ban firearms, does that stop gun crime? No way. You know why? Because you have done nothing at all to stop the 'wolves' accessing and using firearms, and the only thing you've achieved is making civilians completely defenceless.
Do the government honestly think that anyone with a Firearms certificate would ever use their gun to hurt anyone? It's moronic.
Man, this one time I want to thumbs-up a video (I usually comment), it's disabled?! Well, I'm just here to say that this video should be watched by everybody. And by that I mean ALL fucking 6.5 billion people in the world! :-) Why don't we see more of these video's that are so jam-packed full of striking truth? Great stuff man, this is mandatory footage for anybody with half a brain, and the rest (the sheeples) should just be FORCED to watch it. (over and over) Maybe that would open their eyes?
Exactly, you hit it man !! There is a whole generation, that grow up with such a way of life.
Their life experience is video-game or they are phone texting person sitting in the same room, instead of talking to them !!
So their social reality is much different . And then they could be manipulated easier on important issues, because they miss true individuality and knowledge with real life experience. Such a person will trust the authorities without a doubt and will not fight for themselves.
now that I am older (17 now) I wish that my parents would have taught me about firearms. I wasn't really into them until a few years ago when I started watching Nutnfancy and a couple of other channels. I had to learn for myself by watching videos and reading stuff about the subject. if it weren't for you Nutnfancy I probably would have never known the true value of firearms and the 2nd amendment. thank you Nutnfancy.
Therefore if one is truly concerned about the public good then he shouldn't fear "dangerous things" but should fear the ignorance that promotes their incompetent use and abuse.
I'm using this. That's a really good line. Has anyone seen "Loose Change Final Cut"?
If you let anyone that IS LEGAL to carry a firearm the crime rate will go down,if they (THE GOVERMENT) takes our guns the crime rate will go up look at Washington DC
real bad crime rate that is becuse guns are banned so they think what is good for DC is good enought for the rest of the U.S. I SAY WRONG!!!
obama should watch this video. good vid! Your are right about everything you said. It has taken my dad 1 year to get his pistol permit and he has a clean record. People need to understand it is not these items doing the harm.
i am seventeen.. and yeah, i own ''danqerous thinqs''.. i have a g26, knives and whatnot, but like you said, TRAINING with these items is way better than not having that option. thx nutn
I am a younger person I own knives, a gun, and plenty of other dangerous things like he says any one with the training can use a "Dangerous" item properly.
and now if everyone had a gun on them at all times, who in there right mind would even try anything criminal in publick?!?! i remember this one story of some idiot who tried to rob a gun store while it was open with i think like 6 customers in it... as soon as people saw he pulled a gun out and thretened the cashier, they all pulled out there guns and i believe the man got shot like some 30 times. but you see if everyone has guns! they will be ready to defend themselves!
right on man! seriously, its like if we banned all firearms, all the "good" people who are responsible and know how to safely use a gun for whatever there purpose, wouldnt have one, and only the criminals who really dont care about the law because they already break it, so now only the bad people who are actually likely to use them for violence would have them rendering all the good law abiding citizens helpless......
I got into an argument with a friend over gun controll. I told him there wasn't a thing in that room I couldn't kill someone with if I intended to. 10 minutes later and a room full of things later, he had yet to mention an item that I couldn't come up with a way to kill someone with. Humans are at all times armed and dangerous, our intent is our ultimate weapon.
The other day the news reported a kid taking a gun to school and with a single bullet he shot himself and two friends in the legs. First thing I thought, someone's dad didn't teach they're kid about the safety and to keep the gun pointed away from where you don't want it to hit. They just need to let idiots kill themselves off, what ever happened to evolution and the smart and strong ones survive. No lets save all the idiots from themselves so they can have retarded kids they won't raise.
if you follow "do gooders" idea in brasil you must ban guns, cars, motorbikes, knifes... because here many people die everyday for many diferent reasons... "do gooders" sucks!
I wish that people from the protectionist point of view could watch this and understand but i doubt they would even finish the video... Legislators only know how to make laws. they are not scientists, they are not engineers, nor are they law enforcement in most cases - yet they make the laws that govern said people. Its like having a boss make rules that don't work for a job that they don't do. Keep doin what you are doin nutn!
You took the words right out of my mouth nutnfancy! UK is a nanny state and the whole system is over the top (IMO). Due to a minority of people the governments wants to abolish stuff. Banning guns over here has resulted in legitimate people not having any protection and criminals etc. still have guns and use them. So what's the point of banning them ! Personally, given the choice I'd rather be carrying firearms, because, I'm a responsible human being.... Freedom with responsibility !!
Totaly agree. My son just turned 10 in march and what did dad do? Bought him a ruger 10/22. Was it his first gun? No. He started with air soft pistols, moved into bb/pellet guns. He has been shooting now for 3 years and he was ready for it. He is in teh scouts so he will get to shoot them anyway. Ive taught him the proper safety of even the bb gun. And he dont do silly things. His friends are amazed and parents who frown on me..am i worried no. He knows how to handle the weapon
When I went to the Airport, to look at airplanes, Dad said,"Don't walk into a spinning Propeller." I'm over 60 and haven't had a propeller problem yet. Thanks Dad...
@adamwest456 True, but often when I hear people, not necessarily Nutn, talking about SHTF they seem to be instilling a fear in people about a looming apocalypse that they probably wouldn't have otherwise if they based their caution souley on reason and contemporary events.
@adamwest456 i agree with you completely on that. you should be prepared and all, but i dontt think you should carry around a backpack of gear and always be on your guard for a complete government takeover or somethin. thats daft.
Your so right nutn, here in the UK its terrible!!... when bad things go wrong the media try and blame everything else apart from the stupid person who done the deed.
I have a Firearms Cert for clay shooting and hunting and I am currently teaching my 8 year old nephew how to shoot safely after watching vids like this and Children of the Gun.
Amen, Nutn. I don't always agree with you 100%, but this video had me jumping out of my chair in agreement. Keep up the good work! As a fellow father, you have my support. Take care, shoot straight and keep your edges keen.
Completly argree, even law enforcement agencies in Australia are scared to do there jobs properly because of all the do gooders blaming them if anything goes wrong. We should all start taking resposibility for our own actions and not blaming everyone else, when things go wrong!!

The best way to protect yourself is to practice "safety first". It starts with you. Those who disregard that basic rule because they chose to deserve what accidents or other consequences that they have coming. That is what natural selection is for.

PsycheHED 2 months ago

Very interesting video with a good point to it.
You mention the UK, but here in the Netherlands the laws and the principles behind it on banning "dangerous things" are probably just as bad as there though.
Keep up the good work.
mlodewijk 3 months ago
Don't confuse carelessness with competent use? With the proper skill set and proper training? so, you're saying you were trained properly and have skill enough to drive a 350Z that fast on a PUBLIC road very safely? I'm an EMT and trust me, we've rushed to auto vs. pedestrian scenes way too much on roads such as these. "whoah dude hold on, that is careless driving", indeed. I've watched your videos and you do a helluva good job and this is no exception but this driving was just bad example.
PsycheHED 3 months ago
@PsycheHED whoah hold on. 1 of the things that TNP says in the video is that if something bad were to happen you are the one to blame. that means everyone should be accountable for the consequences of their actions. NTP drove that way in "roads such as those"knowing that the unexpected can happen but.. WHOAH HOLD ON AGAIN... did you see him driving over a pedestrian? THE ANSWER IS NO. watch again the vid when he is driving the car he mention something about some bikers and being CAREFUL about it
eac107 2 months ago
finally some one who says its bad parenting!!!! i agree with you on every point and are the same points i live by... yes everything can be dangerous...
its just as easy to kill/harm some one purposefully with a ball point pen/pencil as it is to accidentally kill some one with a motor vehicle...
so does this mean that we not only have to ban guns, knives, cars that can do more then 3mph, and writing utancils?

Do you think the same policy of no regulations should be applied to recreational drugs and alcohol too nutnfancy? The same reasoning applies to them as well I think personally. They can be used responsibly and safely by people and have been for thousands of years in every culture. Sure they can be abused just like anything else that is "dangerous" but a good example to look at is the Netherlands decriminalization of soft drugs and the decrease in abuse.
doujin 4 months ago
@doujin

The problem with this thinking (not saying it is wrong, just a flaw) is that 90% of people who own guns don't have the skill set or common sense to handle them competently and safely. And we will never have everyone handling guns properly, fact of life.
skillfulsnipes 5 months ago
@skillfulsnipes true we may never have "everyone" handling firearms properly, but i believe your statistics will be flipped the other way around. as the majority of fire arm owners already handle firearms safely, and those who dont may face the consequences someday. i can tell you from personal experience that just watching the nutnfancy channel has taught me many new ways to safely handle firearms.
it899 5 months ago
@skillfulsnipes You gotta love people with zero common sense to even go look up a statistic. They just like to pull a random percent out of their ass to try and stay in or start an argument. We know now who doesn't own a gun and if he does he has never shot it in his life.
surfmac211 4 months ago
@surfmac211 Your right I've never shot a gun in my life and it would be illegal for me to own one cause I'm a minor and neither of my parents own a gun. And you are again correct that I made up that percentage, but I didn't see your rebuttal to my argument.

My point is that the mass shooting arguments are too susceptible to counter arguments. They are not a productive way to argue for CCW. Yes, they can be plausible, but the fact that they do not happen very often makes them much less effective. IMO, stick with personal protection, it's the best and most plausible argument for CCW.
lheaxhuns 5 months ago
I really enjoy your videos. However, I believe that personal protection is a better argument for CCW than mass shootings. In your McDonalds scenario, a Bad Guy walks in and opens fire with a machine gun. 6 armed Good Guys are in the McDonalds. When the Bad Guy opens fire, Good Guy #1 also starts shooting (at the Bad Guy). How is Good Guy #2 (who had his back turned when the shots rang out) able to distinguish between the Bad Guy and the Good Guy who was simply returning fire?
lheaxhuns 5 months ago

"If you outlaw guns, only outlaws will have guns." Yes, it's cliche, tired, we've all heard it a thousand times. But that doesn't make it any less true. Those who go through the hassle to get their CHL... are NOT the ones who are out to commit crimes & hurt innocents. They only wish to be able to protect themselves, & others, in the event of some sicko going on a killing spree. Banning guns does not make all guns magically disappear, it only disarms the good, law-abiding citizens.
Hour13GT 6 months ago
If just 3 of this guys had guns bad guy would be killed and others safe.

poisoncobra7 6 months ago
Perfectly explained Nutn, I feel exactly the same as you about this. Living in the UK you realise how ridiculous it all is. So the government ban firearms, does that stop gun crime? No way. You know why? Because you have done nothing at all to stop the 'wolves' accessing and using firearms, and the only thing you've achieved is making civilians completely defenceless.
Do the government honestly think that anyone with a Firearms certificate would ever use their gun to hurt anyone? It's moronic.

CupOjoe100 9 months ago
right on man! seriously, its like if we banned all firearms, all the "good" people who are responsible and know how to safely use a gun for whatever there purpose, wouldnt have one, and only the criminals who really dont care about the law because they already break it, so now only the bad people who are actually likely to use them for violence would have them rendering all the good law abiding citizens helpless......
CupOjoe100 9 months ago
I got into an argument with a friend over gun controll. I told him there wasn't a thing in that room I couldn't kill someone with if I intended to. 10 minutes later and a room full of things later, he had yet to mention an item that I couldn't come up with a way to kill someone with.
