Why?!?? Why John!? Where is your pride? The Band sucks big time and John..well..i just dont get it. Is it the money or the fact that John is getting old? Im a huge Wetton fan but this one..it makes me angry!
Wait a second. This is a music school for kids trying to learn classic rock. They get many stars from the 70's to guest star... Jon Anderson, Adrian Belew, Robert Fripp, Keith Emerson, Jimmy Page, etc.
John Wetton is helping these kids learn the GREAT music of yesteryear.
dont criticize the bassist for being like a rock and give props to the lead for being into it while bass was solid and lead missed a few. have you ever seen fripp play? expressionless, boring to watch, but technically perfect, which i believe is more important
Well at least they tried. Some of the other things Wetton has done is better, but christ, sometimes they're not playing in the same key. Solo was EXCELLENT, though. I dunno, I have high standards for versions of this song I guess, since the original is pretty much my favourite of all time.
Incredible! I was fortunate enuff 2 b at this show and I tell you, those kids played with twice the heart of "pros" twice twice their age. Wetton was having a great time; it showed.
couldn't agree more! cross's viola on starless is much more beautiful on starless but of course that's a studio version. that lineup of cross, fripp, wetton and bruford was totally awesome. imho, they made bands like led zep and others of that ilk look like second rate.
a woman doing hendrix faces during guitar solo? im in love

Does everyone have to be a critic?
No, its not Crimson, but give the kids a break.
They are talented, and the mark of a master musician like Wetton is to play with learning musicans.
I am proud of them, and John is a god!!

Unbelievable. The Girl was great, John solo was great, nice arrangement, great audio. "Thankyouthankutanku" Hey that would be a great KC LP title!
I'd love to see more of this video.

The guitar gal should focus on playing the right notes rather than playing the right faces.

Don't bash him for that.

I would actually laugh pretty hard if Fripp agreed to gust on one of those shows, but I agree with you.

HOLY MOLY.
That little cutie can play that guitar as good as FRIPP himself.
I'm speechless.

that solo left me weeping for joy

The guitarist can pull off an impressive Fripp sound with that tele, and the solo was awesome.
Too bad Wetton was out of key at the beggining (which the violin player noticed apparently and stopped playing).

Wow. Kinda ragged at the beginning but it gets going well. The lead guitarist REALLY gets into her part and plays her ass off here.

great performance, although the bassist was like a rock. no enthusiasm, couldnt even hear her because she was picking so quietly.

Awesome, even in this version it's moving. Anyone who hasn't heard the original on Starless and Bible Black is missing out.
