Bob - healing from mites and loss of most of his tail (no thanks to Petco!)

im so happy i did my homwork on my iggys b4 i got one seeing this, hes a fully healthy iggy called iggy lol and i've had him for about 3-abit years now. hes like a big scaley puppie ^_^

How awesome that you are knowledgeable and so caring with these reptiles. Alot of people who purchase them do not take the time to read about them and see what it actually takes to keep these kick ass pets happy. I had a Green Iguana that was 13 when he passed, but I had only had him for 3 of those years. THE most awesome pet I have ever owned. :) Again, it's so great to see someone else in this world who actually cares for these reptiles and is nice enough to pass it on with video. :)

i have a 3 foot iguana named monster and he was out walking on a leash and a neighbors dog came up and scared him , needless to say he dropped his tail and for the record his tail did grow back it has grown back 4 inches so far, so you are right on alot of what you say but you are wrong as far as the tail not growing back!!!! just wanted to tell ya!!!!

Petco Petco Petco.....so sick an tired of seeing things like that at these big pet stores. Thanks for being the rescuer, I rescued 2 red iguana's that were REALLY gettn hurt with mites, plus the had MBD like crazy but all doing better now.

There is a special spray that you can get to get rid of your iguanas mites, and it doesnt even take that long.

his tail will grow back a lot more than u think but most likely not back to full length unless ur lucky

@MustanGT2003 doesn't make sense... he's still young and growing, broken tail or not I'm pretty sure when he's older the tail would be much longer...lol

hi there i like what you are doing by rescuing these fantastic creatures however when i was listening i heard you say that their tais don't grow back ! just to let you know they do grow back they are not the same colour again but they do make a full recovery

dont go to petco go to pjs pets . best pet store ever they told me that if they feel that the owner will not treat the animal right they can say that they will not give the animal to you . aswell they treat their animals well.

i dont think my iguana is growing properly i soak him regularly feed him numerous times a day collard greens he has proper lighting and gets his calci powder times he is alot bigger than when i first got him but i dnt think he is as big as he should be what do u feed ur iguana please let me no

my iguana was also a victim of petco but he isn't missing that much of his tail and he looks like he is 6 months old but he is a year

they get the little black speckles that look like they have black dirt on them. it's kinda like fleas on cats and dogs but mites can cause scales to die and sores to form.
