@TyroneGH People outside America younger than 40 would have never heard of this song if it wasn't for this cover. People who think this is oversang should know Mariah was suuper subtle here. I mean the woman has a 5 octave range, she barely showed off here. Plus, as i had never heard the original and was NOT used to that version, I didn't find it THAT special. The one you hear first is always the best in ur ears.

If I met her for a brief moment then you would be right, I wouldn't know. I grew up obsessed with her, trust me, if she had a big ego then I would not like her at all. :-)

I have listened to many versions of this ballad, and I still keep coming back to the original whcih was done by Preston and Wright as being the one that is the benchmark by which all others try to achieve.
