Yes I care about this salute a lot, probably one of my favorite moments from high school, what I don't care for is people bashing it for no reason, we did it for fun not to show off, if we would have gotten second we would have done the same exact thing, just saying :)

Neat how you guys choreographed all that. Problem though is that it really is something innappropriate. If it was my band, I would be embarassed. That isn't only disrespectful band courtesy wise, but it is also rude to the other bands as you show-boat. That is very rude.

This is very cool, and a perfect example of how even though we members of the marching band are always serious and professional, we still like to have fun. And as artists, there isn't any better way to have fun than to do what we do best :) Great video!

@ashgiri94 as the person who led this salute and was the Head Drum Major, you'd think I would care about what your opinion was, but I don't :) because clearly you have nothing better to do but bash on other people's videos through comments on youtube, which makes you a pretty pathetic person, maybe once you are in charge of a band and decide to do something as epic as we did (because people still talk about it) maybe I'll let you judge us, but until then please leave rude comments off our video

@RustyCrow This is not even a salute, it is a dance. I don't go around peoples videos bashing them, but I sometimes enjoy browsing around for good salutes :) Good for you that people still talk about your salute but I just didn't think it was a salute you know? I think salutes are best when they are simple & powerful, not an informal dance like this one. But it is just a matter of opinion I suppose! Peace!

@ashgiri94 Obviously it is a salute, they SALUTED. There is no limit to how long or what you can do during a salute, so I give them both thumbs up for creativity! :)

@RustyCrow That is an insane salute, I'm amazed your band director allowed this. I'm all for goofing off! I mean why else are we in band? (besides the actual reasons) But I have a professional mindset when it comes to field time. That right there is what is for the bus on the way home..... My opinion. But you won good for you guys.
