after you've heart hendrix 'red house, all other guitarist sound poor.....realy is...
you have great people who done memorial versions...but man...how poor sounds santana steve vai when you know hendrix. last time I heart some famous guitarist burn his hands was Slash...I mean all respect but red house cannot be done by mortals...it is a different level that jimi is on...bit like buddy rich on drums...no one even comes close.....
Another really great version from Red House from his Guitarness Jimi. When he starts to play the blues you can take it for granted that the angels from heaven will look down on him and the moon & stars will stop moving....gosh, I would love to have been in the audience but alas ! I was just 6 years old at that time.
@kimmedavid Holy fucking bloody hell, you weren't kidding when you said the Stockholm version was not the best. I think my search for the best version of Red House just might have come to and end.
This kicks more ass than an epileptic proctologist; thanks for uploading.

Of all the live versions of this i have heard, i still think the definitive live version is the May 24, 1969 San Diego Sports Arena version.

I agree that this is clearly one of the better live versions. Every version is unique in its own way, though.
