Aber ich glaube , das liegt an dem erhöhtem Ladedruck der RS500 hat noch merh leicht an Klang verloren .. Ja es stimmt ein 5 Zylinder dreht nicht gern über 6500 rpm drüber hinaus beim 6 tausend fühlt er sich wohl :D

Er ist gut aber ich denke dass ich kenne das Run schnellsten als Inh gerne fahren mit meine Ford Focus fahren. Trotzdem ich kenne mit ihm selbst verstand. Or do you think they can afford to have photographers and cameramen at every corner to capture it ll on one lap? the video is a fakefirst of all are always some seconds cut of during the switches of the outdoor and cockpit sequences ( i can compare that very well to my lap.. when u play them simultaneously i am always excatly as fast as he is but suddenly i lose after the outdoor sequences ( which last like 5 secs) a few hundreds of meters.. (compare to video: tts 8:20 btg)and second of all u can see that while filming outside, the driver is wearing a different helmet..i am very disappointed about that.

Well Ford said the best time of the R26R was due to Toyo R888. They put in on the Focus for this video and still 10 sec behind the megane (and the Driver of Renault who score 8.16 was only autorized to drive 1 single lap in Nordschleife, even no training, when Ford put the guy knowing the track by heart). Whatever you say Megane chassis is a way better than Focus one. And even imagine the Ford weight as much than the Megane, and then the Megane has 305 HP. Who wins? Sure it's still the Mégane.

The R26-R is focused on "track days" etc and its not pratical for everyday use, unlike the RS, with boot space to...BACK SEATS haha

ps: after ford bought volvo they used much of its technologie for cars like focus ST (which is about 90% a volvo) and others. the engine in the new rs is the same as in the s60r. trust me. all in all, a very good shaped car, the Ford Focus RS! i love it even if i dont like ford. :o)

the (porsche/audi developed) 5zyl turbo volvo-engine does a good job in the RS :o)

Audi/Porsche has absolutely NOTHING to do with the 5-cyl in Fords and Volvos.

@jockeleu: i see you dont know nothing about this engine: it was developed by audi/porsche as a 6zyl engine. then audi cut off 1zyl, cos it didnt fit into its audi100. the 5zyl engine conzept then was bought from volvo for its 850 R series (t5 and t5-r), which became the v70R 1 in 1996, with the same engine in it. it was improved around 2000 with a HP boost from 250 to 300 in the V70R 2 and the new S60R. So please, if you dont know shit, shut up your mouth and inform yourself. thanks.

I just have one question for FORDOFEUROPE: Why oh why can't you just be FORD? Why does Europe get these cars and the US does not?  I have issues with the demographics you are using for your market research. You're not polling the correct people. This product would sell here, in more forms than in just the RS clothes, and it would most likely put you well above what other car manufacturers currently offer. I know globalization of your product has been tossed around a lot, but MAKE IT SOON!!

because this car is useless in america.... they dont need a car with almost racing suspension that gives you so much driving pleasure and can handle so perfect as this focus does... so it wont make many sells... american people usually want huge SUVs with spacious interior, comfortable suspension, automatic transmission(always), leather seats etc.... in other words luxury....and that's a hardcore almost rally car for the road.... it's just marketing.

Agreed, but I'd like to see the Focus being driven closer to it's limits. Currently, the Megane R26.R still has a 10sec faster lap time - I suspect there's more to come from the Focus. As long as it doesn't turn into a tiresome GT-R vs. 911-style battle though I'll be happy!
