I have always contested that the infamous "Cranberry Sauce" line was actually uttered by George Martin, not John Lennon. And this posting seems to support my theory because the guy counting off in the beginning is the SAME voice that you hear at the end and that voice is NOT John Lennon. It's George Martin.
If you mess around in audacity, if you slow this down 7.9%, it is the speed that is on the actual song. It's fun trying to match what George Martin did
Can't help but be impressed with Martin's scoring. Not many classically trained guys would be able to link up the sound of a chunking electric rhythm and a spiccato sound from the stings. Genius.
@2020man996 Don't know, happens sometimes when down loading to youtue, have tried several times but it skips in different places, the only think I can think it is is the volume peaking? So have decided to leave it and maybe re try other time. by the way you can question all you like these are downloaded from reel to reel tapes, transfered to digital and then downloaded
Because of his musical knowledge he was the prefect producer for the beatles who needed someone like him to put their, and his ideas on to tape, which is why people call him the 5th beatle, when you listen to the original demos and takes they are such good quality and sound as fresh as the day they were recorded, very little tape hiss etc.

@idaslpdhr: could you explain the skips in the tracks? I'm starting to question the legitimacy of this....

@harrykemma Actually, Billy Preston was considered the 5th Beatle. I guess that would make George the 6th Beatle :-)
