  • ugh....we had to deal with this all last fall...but we had a gleaner..so we didn't get NEAR stuck !

  • Nothing like picking corn in the mud.

  • hi we are planting corn but our corn length is very long like 3-4 meters also, one decare gives two tons corn sometimes much more than 2 tons

  • Well that is not a common crop of corn for this area at all! That is a very wet area of a field and so the corn was set back considerably. Not only that, we had a heavy snow storm before we started harvesting and that broke almost every stalk to make it look even shorter. In a good year our corn will be 3 meters as well and yield on average 4.5tonnes per acre. I am not familiar with decare as a measurement of area.

  • @madkaan

  • that look like a real waste of time there is no corn going in u should have parked it did that farm yeild 50 b/a

  • I do not agree with you at all. The field yielded much more than 50bu. You are more than welcome to leave money in the field, it is not our way.

  • ya the only time we dont harvest is if the corn is not going the pay the fuel cost of the combine which is not very often

  • @Farmerknowsbest did u lay tile in ur ruts

  • heyy warren nice vid. we had wet condition down here too, there is still some corn in fields around here. are you going to be updating your blog on farmphoto anytime soon because it seems like you just abandoned it. anyways have a good one!

  • Are you in Manitoba

  • Eastern Ontario

  • cool gods country what side of ottawa i'm west

  • man i cant believe you didnt get stuck! that combine had to have rear assist didnt it? Should get some tracks. lol

  • Yes it is RWA. The front tires are also R-2 treads so they take a good bite. Tracks would be nice but are expensive to be only needed every so often.

  • how come you were tring out new combines if you have a 2003 2388 we have a 1990 1640 and its never left us behind

  • The farm is expanding and the capabilities of a 2388 is not enough to take care of it. Either 2 88's or a new bigger combine is needed. We traded a 1988 1660 for this 2388 in 2004. Those 1600 series machines were bullet proof.

  • cool video nice job 5******

    and added to my playlist

  • Thanks man!!!

  • man, that was wet. have you seen case ih's new 9120 track combine?

  • They would be nice for sure, but our Rice tires get us through a lot!

  • Doesn't look like your getting much there.

  • You get what you get some years I guess.

  • That is the same in France I finish combining on december 23

  • Are you combining corn NOW?

sorry my english not good :(

  • No, I'm just getting around to putting up harvest videos. We finished a week before Christmas in the snow.
