  • He didn't mention that that was the fourth camera man... ;-)

  • anyone else notice the divot beside the ball

  • The only thing missing in the last 3 seconds was him saying "that's right bitches"...

  • what if he bladed it and nailed the cameraman in the balls.

  • smug cunt. FIGJAM!

  • I tried this and hit my friend in the balls.

  • i still can't do this

  • @roycesboy what really helped me was a tip from Tom Watson. Make the same setup. Then for the swing, feel as if ur trying to slice the ball. You wanna feel as if ur swinging ur arms to the left of ur target line instead of down the line. I like to take the club up steep and then drop it to the left. So far, its worked every time.

  • @remmy100 good tip ill try that out

  • Have to say whilst it is impressive i cant possibly think how that shot could ever be applied in a game. Not sure if he was aiming to land it anywhere near the pin but clearly he was a mile away. Percentage wise you would always play a little bump and run there or even putt from that position. Time would be better spent showing us how he picks a real shot choice from there.

  • @TechnoZoneTV he was just showing you can't hit a flop off of a tight lie, he didn't say anything about playing the proper shot from where he was from.

  • @LtDansGamertag think your missing my point dude. i would rather see a video that tells us what shot we should be playing in that situation.

  • @TechnoZoneTV If you can't figure out when to use this shot, you either aren't a good golfer or you've never played on greens over a 13 on the stimp.

  • At the end phil transform to Tom Cruise look at that smile!

  • My left ear liked it

  • take 3242764.... and he finally got it. congrats

  • Show off........

  • i bet he broke a few lenses before this shot...hahaha

  • Lob Shot. LIKE A BOSS.

  • hmm I wonder why I play the lobs with the ball back in an open stance and the weight on my right leg (i'm right handed) and it works.. it's the complete opposite!... someone?? any help?

  • @kiswajili I do that too, I don't know if I can explain why it works but i do believe it's because we both properly square up de clubface at impact as we slice it underneath the ball. I work both ball stances, just in case i can't get the ball further forth (obstacles behind of me or anything) But you're right, ball on the right... flop... it can work. Another factor may be that we hit it down on the ball just a fraction of a second before getting the grass and doing the followthrough.

  • @ivanriverogolf It's because of the bounce of the wedge. A wedge with 8-10* of bounce, during this type of shot, will pop back up a little causing the contact with the ball and popping it up in the air.

  • My left ear enjoyed this. My lob wedge did not.

  • Camera man begging for a lawsuit

  • What i do is i smack the ball until it fall into the hole.

  • At the end he's like "Try and pull off that shit!"

  • wow phil's a homo

  • @SuperMhooper If that's the case Tiger Woods must be a whore

  • @SuperMhooper And it's high time for you to leave youtube. Bye!

  • i think i saw a camera

  • Nods and says to himself "Fuck yeah" at the the end haha

  • @theelman lol haha good phil

  • Phil...you are very cool !

  • the camera man was the real professional here

  • How can people think a lob shot off a tight lie is impossible it's actually pretty easy if you use the right technique.

  • He's just like come at me

  • I would need a 90 degree wedge :-)

Sorry Phil but I enjoy it when you miss your tee shot and have to make crazy recoveries :-)

I watch golf tournaments only to see you make extra shots from 10-30 meters in impossible situations.

    Cheers!

  • holy shit

  • what a top bloke and proffesional

  • I'd probably hit the camera man

  • bloody cheeky smirk at the end

  • i don't care how pro phil is. i would never stand in front of that shot. pro's do hit wayward shots

  • He is using a 80 Degree wedge in this one.

  • hahaha then ending was fucken great, classic mickelson showing off

  • I bet he bladed a few into the camera mans bollocks

  • @Jonbek i bet he didnt

  • @Jonbek You have no clue, Phil can hit that shot a hundred times and maybe once hit it too low.

  • His little smirk at the end, lol

  • All the views have

    Been speechless.) Go Phil!!
