I dont know why everyone is so crazy about the 187, I actually don't use mine anymore since I got Laura merciers duo fibre finishing brush, I like it so much better. The 187 is wayyy too soft and floppy, its annoying to me. The 217 is quite versatile, I love that brush alot, it was also my very first mac brush, the next one I bought was the 239 of course then the 187 which i don't care for anymore.

I live in Vancouver, BC Canada...it's not winter, but our weather varies a lot from day to day. This particular day was pretty overcast and chilly (even though it's still summer/autumn)
