Bill Cullen was not a funny man. He came from a large family of strictly devout Mormons, who forbade laughter, alcohol, dancing, caffeine, pets, swimming, flatulence and breathing through the nose. The only activity permitted in the Cullen household was masturbation, and then only in absolute darkness.

basically a rudder is on a plane and the first one was made in the year "1241" but the joke Bill was going for was that it was made in 12:41 and its only 1:10(a reference to the time that the show was being filmed I do believe)
hope that helps or did I confuse it more?

I just found out that Cullen had severe disabilities from polio & had a very difficult time walking. A tribute to him that so few people knew & he always had such a great wit, clunkers & all.

Best Game Show host by far... made it look easy. The shame is he was on some really bad Bob Stewart game shows in the 70's.

Goodson-Todman has the best losing horns. Blockbusters, Price Is Right, and the abbreviated TPIR losing horns used on Card Sharks and Double Dare (Trebek).
