  • how did you build it for the turbo..how many psi

  • wow, that is sweet! stang really looks good. on the road since 06? hows has it done? hope you are still enjoying it.

  • i have a 351m i want to twin turbo where did you get the manifolds for the turbo

  • @lonewolff85

They are all custom built... sorry!

  • How many Lb. of boost is that single putting out? Message me plz... Thx.

  • Hello duplox.. What did you do to the block for the oiling mods.. and what head gaskets are you using, is the block studded ?? what did you use for headers or did you flip the stock manafolds around ?? Thanks DaBlueOvalBoys..

  • what did you do as far as headers and the piping?

  • Are those Crager rims? And if not what brand are they? Thankx!

  • @thezombie65

Yes, they are Cragar Soft 8's, 15x7 front 15x10 rear

  • I generally dont like yank cars but that is real nice.Wouldn`t mind one myself but i think the fuel costs would kill me.

  • that thing sounds like a fuckin diesel...nice work !!

  • Have you made any quarter mile runs or dyno pulls. Like to know how much power it is putting out.

  • nice setup. im in the process of tryin to put a turbo on my 69stang for the 2nd time. did u modify the carb?? what about the oil return lines??

  • @andre49ers

See response to douger0500 for carb mods. The oil return line goes thru the front (timing chain) cover.

  • how much boost is it putting out

  • 10psi right now. The turbo is capable of much more if I ever want to push it more. Nervous about breaking the block, transmission or rear end though. Until the aftermarket cleveland blocks are available, I'm going to stick with 10psi.

  • @duplox Those Cleveland's are the best motor Ford ever made, and not to mention putting out more hp and higher RPM when built than the other Ford and Chevy motors. They were the only motor Ford sponsored dragsters back in the day used, for about 5-6 years strong until they ran short of blocks to build because Ford decided to stop manufacturing them after 3 short years. Given they have WAY larger heads and block castings than other small AND big blocks, im certain it can handle more than 10psi

  • what type of rims are those? i really like that vintage race look. i want something like that for my cougar

  • Those are Cragar Soft 8's. I got them because they were cheap, but I really like how they look, don't think I'll be changing them anytime soon!

  • Neat, all the horse power without all the chagga, chagga, grind noises a big cam, high compression motor has. A big thumbs up for thinking outside of the norm.

  • no offense but does ne one remember any turbos back when those cars were made? they still had power up the ass, my opinion headers bigger pistons bigger carb. n a seat belt classics a classic put some of that stuff on a honda or a stang after 74. does look fun as hell tho!

  • Why not both? build a killer engine with a turbo. Faster is better. Awesome car btw

  • Now that's a cool build, man! Kudos for using a cleveland motor, too! Nice ride!

  • I'm doing this to my car right now. Awesome power abilities.

  • Thats sick, what kind of turbo is it? Is it a kit or did you put it together yourself? I was wondering cause I might do that to my 70 Mustang. I like how you were able to break the tires loose when you were already going 20.

  • SON OF A B*TCH THAT SH*T IS FAST!

  • how did u get a turbo to work on a caburated motor?

  • Its called a blow through, they put a "hat" on the carb and seal it and then force the turbo though the Carbie there is also a box that VORTEC superchargers makes that you can put the entire carb inside and pressurize the entire thing...if one had lots of money thats the way to go. hope that helps with your question.

  • or just by a efi kit for it lol

  • Carb was cheaper, spent maybe $250 on carb and hat. EFI would have been $1k+

  • Where you get the carb? What is the turbo you running? I wanna do this with my 400 cleveland. Thinking about doing twin shorty headers and reversing them skyward with turbo's at the end of em.

  • The carb is just a 750dp with the choke horn cut off and the linkage hole filled. The PVCRs have been drilled out a little too, and nitrophyl floats added. The carb hat is an extreme velocity hat. Thats about it for carb mods. The turbo is a PT67GTQ.

I don't think you can reverse cleveland headers skyward, the ports don't line up anymore.

  • The idea is that shorty headers will reverse but will have to be swapped. Drivers side to passenger side. Then reversed to the sky. Which in my head should work. What do you think the best el cheapo turbo I can find and buy is? Thanks, Doug

  • ebay get a turbo from like an 01-04 duramax diesel XD should pull plenty of boost

  • shit listen to that turbo whistle when it takes off that is a bad ass ride. in a race that shit would blow anything out of the water. thats some fast shit right there.

  • @CKcomedyking2 for some reason when I read this I pictured cheech saying this, like in up in smoke when hes bugging out cause he smoked that maui waui!

  • thats right....straight up bad-assery right there!

  • wow! that looks really cool!...how well is that working?

  • TomServowned!

  • Nice,I'm doing something similar to a van with a 460 in it.

  • I want to build a turbo setup for my '69. Do you have any pictures or any more videos of this car?? I want to run one T-76/44 turbo with an intercooler on a 351w.

  • nice

  • God damn, that's kick ass turbo there
