  • then you have the option of small dragon punch, timed sweeps and crossovers.

Otherwise, your dead. Having scrapes with Honda results in big chunks of health disappearing without even realising. If he gets in close, you've had it.

So basically a shoto has the power over Honda, but he cannot afford any mistakes. Hondas time is spent reading, waiting and punishing.

I do agree this particular match up is kind of crap at optimum, but its not cheap, its all you have.

  • Ken in round 2 was terrible.

An average Shoto player has nothing more than fireballs against Honda, that is the way the game is programmed.

When standing off against a master Honda player, you can't jump into, mis-time the cross over, let him get close, mis-time jumping backwards, play footsie, spam dragon punch, have priority over normals, Honda dominates a Shoto in all of these circumstances and more.

You have to keep Honda at bay with correct distancing using fireballs,

    contd.

  • Cheap hadokens,thats ridicolus.How else do you expect a ryu/ken player to fight e.honda?

  • Nice

  • Cheap ha do kens , what they should do is ban the use of all moves then no one can moan about being beaten by a "cheap move".

  • and honda is the least skill required to play well character in the game

  • wtf are you talking about? If that was the case, you'd see everyone using him.

  • Surprised ken won the first one with cheap hadokens
